Today is the worst day of my life! My mom just announced that we were moving to some town named Mele Hula. This would be exciting for an elementary schooler but a high school freshman. I dont think so. The worst part is that it's the middle of the year so everyone would already have their group of friends and I would just be the friendless wannabe. I looked at my mom one last time before running upstairs to my room. As soon as I got to my room I slammed the door shut and jumped onto my bed face first. I turned around and stared at the ceiling, a couple of minutes later my mom came into my room. "Melody, start packing up we are leaving later tonight." I groaned in response. "I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye." I mumbled under my breath. My mom sighed and then walked out. I slid out of my bed, grabbed clothes and a towel then went into the bathroom for a shower.
