"Melody, wake up." My mom said while shaking my arm. I woke up and stretched. I looked at the house in front of me and nearly jumped out of my seat. "Thats the house we are supposed to be living in?" I asked. My mom nodded her head yes. "It looks like a horror movie in the making." I said. My mom laughed. "You know this house is where I was raised." She said. I looked at her as if she were a mad woman. "Now I see why you moved. " she laughed. "Lets go inside." My mom said. I got out of the car and slowly approached the house. My uncle left a few minutes ago, so it was just my mom and I. Great. I walked up the steps of the horror house and then slowly twisted the doorknob. "Here goes nothing."
