The Secret

The following weeks, Mavy and Raffy got closer and closer. A beautiful friendship turned into a beautiful relationship. They loved each other so much. One day when Mavy was out buying raffy sandwiches at the nearest deli, he quickly ran home to see his true love. He saw raffy on the couch with an IV of some kind of fluid running in his arm. " what the hell is this?" Mavy said.
Raffy quickly took the IV out of his arm, and threw it across the room, busting it. "Mavy!" He said "I-I can explain!" Mavy was furious, thinking that it was some form of heroine. "Oh really raffy? You can explain? I don't think you can!" Raffy sighed and looked out of the window. "I should've told you awhile ago, Mavy. I was just scared of-"
"Of what?" Mavy yelled. "Mavy! LISTEN TO ME! I HAVE TERMINAL CANCER, this is my chemo therapy!"
Mavy didn't know what to say. He felt as if he swallowed his heart, and it "plunked" into his stomach. "Raffy...I..I don't-"
"WHATEVER MAVY, just cry me a river cuz now you feel sorry for me huh? WELL YOU DONT GET TO CRY MAVY! I'm going through this, not you, so save your bull crap!" At the sound of Raffy crying, Mavy burst into tears. Raffy felt so ashamed of himself, losing his temper to his one true love.
"Mavy, I'm so sorry, I know this is hard to understand, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, it's just... I felt as if I was going to lose you." Mavy was taken aback by this. "You think, you think i would do that to you, Raffy? Baby, I loved you since I first saw you, and I'll love you until the very end." Raffy started to tear up when both of their parents walked into the door. "What's going on here?" Mavy's dad asked. "And why are you both crying?" Asked Raffy's mom.
"Um, we were both watching an ASPCA commercial," Mavy said. "I know what you mean son," Mavy's mom said, "that sh*t gives you the feels."
Raffy's parents found the puddle of medicine in the floor along with the busted bag and tubes. "Raffy? Why is your-" Chuca started. "Um, mom, can we talk about this later?" Said raffy. Chuca gave her son a pitying look. "Okay."
