Beep Beep Beep.. The sound of alarm woke me up, it was 7:30AM. I got up and enter the bathroom, wash myself up and wore a pair of jeans and black shirt, then I covered my hair with my veil. I went straight to the kitchen where I found my mom making breakfast.
"good morning umma" I greeted my mom
"how was your night my daughter?" she answered.
"quickly eat your food, Ahmad will be here any moment from now. " she added. Before I finish the sandwich in my mouth we heard a knock on our door. Umma went to open the door and I heard a male voice greeting her.
It must be Ahmad. I thought.
" Hannah be fast Ahmad is here already ". I quickly packed my books in my bag and kissed my mom goodbye.
I saw a black Lexus Jeep packed outside and a guy probably at his 20's leaning on it. He is tall and handsome,, he has a black curled hair, long eyelashes and his eyebrow are thick and full. "salaam alaikum, my name is Ahmad and we'll be going to school together." I realized that I have been looking at him since i came out and felt ashamed when he broke the silence between us. I cleared my throat and replied " wa alaikum Salaam, am Hannah." he gave me a warm smile and made his way to the driver's seat leaving me there. I opened the front door and sat in the front seat next to him.
