I looked at Nick as he took his eyes off his phone and looked at me.
"Marketing?"
"Everything is going down down down..." I say, sighing a bit to give it a little effect.
He coughed as he looked back down on his phone. Judy bit her lip.
"hey, wanna hear about our mission?" Judy jolted up
"Sure,"
"Trafficking, Trafficking and more trafficking cones." Nick groaned and he looked back on his phone.
Judy stared at him for a couple of seconds. "Niiiiccckkk."
"What?" He looked at Judy with a slight anger in his voice.
"We can tell her..." Judy nodded her head. I stared at both of them and coughed as if I wasn't looking at them.
Nick didn't say a single word. He texted away on his phone.
Judy sighed. "So, there was the person and I think he's part of the Angle gang...he was accused of sexually harassing Ms. Nicole Longford. It was quite a big issue. We are still finding evidence that he did it. So far, Ms.Longford's team is winning," She smiled, looking up. "Well, I still find the "Angle Gang" a very weird name. It reminds me of me learning about right angles in primary school." She laughed and looked at Nick.
"Angle is a weird name. I think they're dumb."
"Wait....what's his name?" I say
"Jake."
My heart stops. I recall the name. Jake. Jake. Jake. The Jake that works for Tod. The Jake that everyone loves. The Jake that called me names and laughed at me. The Jake that police hates.
Jake. Jake. Jake. We thought the police didn't know of us.
Jake Jake Jake. Because of him, we are the only thing the police can think about.
The Jake I hate. The Jake I really hate.
I wanted to run to Tod and tell him about this but I can't because I keep imagining his furious face as I tell him each word. Instead, I sit there, looking at Judy and Nick, sipping their drinks on the table. I want to forget what Judy said.
Nick's voice rings in my head.
"Hey y/n, what do you want to eat?"
The feeling of being scared runs out of my mind. I can't think of it anymore. It feels like Nick's voice is a blanket to my body, protecting me when I hide inside it.
"Hm...." I look at him. "I'll have whatever you and Judy are having."
He nods his head. He looks at me for a second then calls the waiter.
"Yes sir?" a young male quickly walks to our table, removing his phone from his pocket. "what would you like?"
"Three salads please," Nick says, politely. I wasn't in the mood for salads at all. I wanted to change the order but I felt like I should be quiet.
The waiter smiles and walks away. I sip on the fizzy apple juice Judy ordered for me. I didn't mind it at all. Except it wasn't something I would normally eat. The food comes in minutes and we start eating it. We get into a decent conversation. I am forced to lie and talk a bit more about marketing as we talk about other things.
It was actually quite fun.
Hi everyone! I know I haven't updated for a while now and I'm really sorry for that! I have actually updated now. Hopefully, this chapter wasn't too bad. I'm actually so gratefully for so many people reading and commenting on it! I swear to god I have read every single comment. Some hate comments and some really nice ones! I'm going to be honest here, when people commented to update it, it was a huge motivation to update it. I might create a new story soon that probably won't be based on Zootopia that I'm quite excited for! I will tell you when it comes out! Also, sorry for the short chapter.
For now, goodbye!
xoxo
