It was going to be a tough one tonight, she could feel it. She pulled out her frail round specs from her white lab coat and put them on, feeling her scalpel in her pocket, just in case. The door to his cell was heavily guarded, they opened the door for her to enter and she saw her patient in a plastic chair, wrapped tightly in a white straight jacket with a mouth guard. The doctors removed the guard and let his smiling face bewilder everyone in the room.
Sebastian Acheron, the most dangerous man that ever lived. Five years it took the agency to capture him, and even now he didn't seem keen on staying. Quietly, she inhaled deeply, just to get her nerves to calm down, a simple technique that has been proven to work time and time again. The doctors left them in the room alone, baring the door behind them.
"Beautiful isn't it?" he said, admiring the walls of his cell. His voice was like velvet; "Built around WW2, built to withhold even a bombing." he was eyeing everyone in the room. "It used to be a sanctuary," he continued, now gazing only at the female doctor, "Now it's a prison."
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" she said as she stood afore him.
"Enjoying what?" he said and a deep alluring tone, almost as if he were purring.
"Well, all this must be like a fun park for you," she smiled in an understanding sort of way, her studies focused so much on the mental state of these psychopaths that certain things came involuntary to her mind. She fixed her glasses as they were slipping down the bridge of her nose. "Well, if you don't start talking, I'm sure you know what will happen to you."
"Ah yes, the death sentence, but doctor, if you kill me, you kill the only guy who knows where the others are."
"Oh no, I won't I kill you off straight away, I have other means of making you talk." And she smiled at him as he smiled back at her. He sat very still and soon averted his gaze from her.
"You hate, this job, don't you?" he asked her without looking, still focusing on one of the guards. She knew what he was doing; buying time, trying to distract her, but it won't do. She walked up to him and stroked his cheek, his piercing blue eyes focused on her, and deep down, something inside her froze her heart, like a cold blade ready to slice her aorta; but she carried on, "No, my sweet psychopath, I enjoy this all too much."
At that he stood up, forcing her to take a step back, his straight jacket fell onto the floor, though his hands were still cuffed. How he removed his straight jacket without removing his cuffs, she had no idea, she stood alarmed. His muscular arms were all scarred and burnt, his skin tissue badly damaged. The guards raised their rifles but she raised her hand, she was sure that she had no chance against him and that terrified her, but most of her patients do, this one should be no different.
"Come on then," he yelled, "You hate me enough, torture me!"
"Of course I hate you, bastard! It's the scum like you that give me this foul job! "
"Bastard? Why am I a bastard and not you?"
He was trying to distract her again, she made sure that his hands were still cuffed and in a flash, sliced at his face with the scalpel from her pocket. He stood still as blood covered his jaw. Wrinkling his nose, causing the blood to seep down faster; the cuffs came loose and fell to the floor. Within that split second that caused everything to slow down, he smiled at her as she gaped before him, and moved past her.
The guards came rushing at him. Sebastian broke out on a run, speed unimaginable; he undertook the guard with the pointed rifle and equipped it for himself. Once he had the upper-hand, he shot them both dead. The doors to his cell opened and a rush of guards and cops flooded in. He was surrounded, and gave in to their kicks and beatings. They carried him to another cell.
