"Teags you awake??"
Awaken by my older brother, before my alarm clock. It usually happens that way.
"Not dead. Will be up in a minute.." I mumbled into my fluffy pillow.
"Okay, I'm driving, so shower quickly!" He yells from our bathroom.
"I don't wanna..." Although I was extremely tired. I rolled over, plopped out of my bed and straightened up my duvet.
New school, well not realllyyy... it was my school a year ago before we moved to New Zealand, but we're back in Auzzie now.
"Didn't you like the outfit I put out for you?" My mum asks, looking at the bland white tank top and black jeans I have on."It was nice mum, wasn't feeling the jacket though. So I just went for something more familiar."
"TEAGAN!!" Max yells from the driveway while beeping his car horn multiple times.
"Gotta go mum, Max get all sissy if I make us late. Love you" I wave goodbye while I walk with a quick pace through the front door.
--------
Max and I always had something to talk about, but this car ride was pretty quiet. I knew we were both scared to go back, so we quietly sat together listening to the static oozing out of the radios speakers.
Max made the turn into the front gate and we both tightened up when seeing the familiar colourful banners and signs hanging across the place labeled [OFFICE]'s doorway.
so many bad memories..
"Thanks for the ride." I call out swinging my bag strap over my shoulder.
"Be careful, okay?"
"I will. If you are." I give my brother a final wave before wandering through the school towards the office.
----
It's quiet. Which is good..quiet is good.
"Uh yeah I'm new here I'm not too sur-"
"Go through there" The lovely looking but not so lovely gum smacking old hag points to a door on the far side of the room without even looking up from her computer.
I waddle along through the mystery door finding a middle aged man, maybe 30-40 sitting at a desk slightly chewing away at a pencil.
"PRECIPITOUSLY!" He suddenly exclaims taking the pencil from between his teeth and jotting down the previously spoken word, cutting the silence and making me jump a little. He must be trying to write something, a novel of some kind. I can respect that.
"Uh, hello...sir, I'm new here"
"AH YES! I'm Mr Madde, You must be Teagan Hudson?"
I nod
"Do your friends call you Tea?" He chuckles a little."They don't, unfortunately." I chuckle with him and smile.
He clears his throat before retaining professionalism once again.- "Ahem well yes, I have your timetable and a map of the school here, that's all you should need for now."
"Much appreciated" I smile once again before taking the pieces of paper from him and getting up to leave.
"Oh! And can you send in the two boys sitting outside please?" He sits up slightly in his chair so I'm able to hear him clearly.
As soon as I step outside I see a boy with red hair and a boy with blond hair sitting beside eachother, however the boy with blond hair looked like he'd been run over by 4 trains, a horse, a tractor and a mobile home.
The bully and the bullied, how very cliché.
"He says you guys can go in now." I point toward the door I just left, I had already forgotten his name.
"Oh thank you," The bullied blond spoke, and smiled too before standing up. Awe how sweet.
"Thanks love." The fire head spoke, his voice was so different to what I was expecting. It wasn't a jock-ish "gangster" voice, it was like an adorable kitten's voice, I love it.

I just decided to sit down on the bench outside the office, contemplating whether or not I should even try to walk around. As soon as I took a seat down, the two boys from earlier came crashing out of the doors, laughing with each other and stumbling along.
They're friends? But they wer-"Hey look Luke it's the pretty girl you were talking about earlier!"
