You Have The Right To Remain Silent

You're vaulting over barbed wire as you run from flashing lights,

Whipping through the alleys hoping they're distracted by the fights,

Then you're diving over rubbish bins to try and get away,

Do you know when they catch you, do you know what they'll say?

You're knocking over passers by as you flee headlong down the street,

Trying to avoid the boys in blue, the bobbies on the bear,

Then you're running across busy roads to try and get away,

Do you know when they catch you, do you know what they'll say?

An icy hand closes around your arm and suddenly you're on the floor,

You'll yell "Hey, so I don't have my rights now anymore?"

They will exchange looks, knowing you'll never stay quiet,

"Sir, you have the right to remain silent."
