"What flowers do you want for your engagement party?" Anne, Harry's mum asks.
"Hmmm. Camellias. Make them pink" I reply to her with a smile. Liam and I both look at each other and smile.
"Are you sure you don't want to save those flowers for your wedding day? I know they mean a lot to you" Harry asks and I smile at him and shake my head. They mean "longing" and what's the point of making them my flowers during my wedding if Liam isn't longing for me anymore since I'm already his? Apparently Liam got this too because he squeezed my hand gently. I squeeze it back even more gently because he's got a huge cut on his palm. And it's just one of the many on his body.
They managed to defeat the knights from Bieber's army but it left many of them injured and killed. Thankfully the Horan Knights that joined them for battle only received injury, albeit very major. I had to visit Liam and his people along with my people and doctors to save most of them.
Liam was healed enough to push through with the engagement and I'm very glad because of that. I remind him once in a while though that if he doesn't feel too good, we can always postpone it but he just shakes his head and kisses my on my cheek.
"What color do you want your table cloth to be?" another maid asks and I thought about it before shrugging. "Anything that suits the camellias. Maybe purple? It can also mean royalty" Alexa nodded and wrote it down on a pad paper.
"What dress color do you want, your highness?" Louis joked and both he and Harry burst into giggles. Louis has a huge gash from the back of his hand to his elbow and the first time Harry saw it he wouldn't leave Louis's side even just for a minute.
Jay, Louis's mum, hits Louis's head with a clipboard. "You are in front of not one, but two princes. I expect you to behave or else I'll send you back home" she paused "without Harry"
That seemed to shut Louis up and I was the one who giggled this time. The other maids proceeded to ask Liam and me questions about our engagement party and halfway through, I left the answering to Liam.
From the corner of my eye, I can see Zayn talking to another knight, but his attention is on me. When he realizes that I'm looking at him, he quickly looks away and stares at the person he's talking to instead.
The past few weeks consisted of Zayn never leaving my side (unless Liam was there) and trying to woo me with simple things like leaving a rose beside my pillow every morning, making his own very soup (which peaked interest and confusion from the cooks in the palace) just for me instead of just requesting one from the cooks and not to mention he reads me a poem at least twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night.
Zayn was there for me when I was crying over Liam. Maybe that's why Harry didn't ask too many questions when I said I wanted Zayn back as my personal knight. Though, he did say "If he hurts you again, tell me and I will fry his balls and feed them to the hyenas"
It sometimes pains me to see Zayn so sad whenever he sees Liam and me together but there's nothing I can do about it. I really like Liam and it's for the benefit of both our kingdoms.
When everyone else was gone, besides Liam and me, he sits on a couch and pulls me down so I was perched on his lap.
"I'm so excited" he says as he wraps his arms around my waist. "We're one step closer to getting married"
"Me too" I hummed. I leaned back so my head was against his left shoulder. I pulled back and made sure that he wasn't in pain before placing my head back on its original position.
"Just you and me, living happily." Liam began to rub my tummy and I purred.
"Mmm. We can live in a nice cottage instead of a huge palace. And you can cook while I do the cleaning. Maybe we'll have a pet or two. That'd be nice" I murmured.
