The pianist tuned up as everyone got from their seat, circling the dance floor to watch my cousin Sarah have her first dance with her new husband and as usual I couldn't wait to get out of here.

Sarah may have been family but she was a bitch who loved to show how much better she was than you. If it wasn't for the fact my niece was the flower girl and all the family were expected I would have been a no show but here I was staring into a glass of tequila as I waited for my brother to show up.

He'd dissapeared as soon as the ceremony had finished and just so the bridezilla didn't have a meltdown I'd been put in charge in dragging his ass back. I finally had a phone call back from him around an hour ago saying he'd be back soon and I'd been sitting here since.

Honestly I wanted to kill him for this, me and the girls could of gone home by now, away from all of this, the glamour, the judgemental snobs and of course the bride. For the past two years I had been living independently with my closest friends Natalie and Avery, we'd all grown up together and the three of our families were very close knit, so close infact that even the girls and their families were forced to come.

Looking from my glass I turned my attention to where everyone was standing, the occassional glimpse of white could be seen moving by as I searched the crowd for the girls but finally I spotted them at the bar.

I got to my feet, picking up my purse before moving through all the tables and chairs. It was really beautiful here, white silk table clothes and flower arraignment on the tables, a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiline, it all screamed sophistication, the only problem were the people.

I finally got out of the scattered furniture and to the bar where the pair stood, turning to face me as I approached "found him yet?" Natalie questioned as I shook my head. She was wearing a beautiful navy high low dress that ended where her strapped black heels started, her chocolate brown locks styles in a curled, half up, half down style that complimented her pearl drop earings very well, her smoky eye make up made her hazel green eyes pop and as ever she looked stunning.

"Nope" I replied popping the 'p' as I crossed my arms over my chest "honestly I'm gonna kill him" I added as Natalie chuckled, her clear blue eyes sparking behind her long black lashes, raven black locks styles in a side fishtail braid and a navy blue long sleeved shoulder dress that complimented her figure as she stood with a glass of whiskey in her hand, her eyes looked from the glass to me, seeing my distressed face she handed it over as I took a swig before handing it back, the liquid burning the back of my throat that honestly made me feel a little more relaxed.

"Thanks Ave" I spoke as she smiled back at me "you look like you needed it" she replied as Natalie turned around to the bar tender, ordering a round of shots when my aunt Celia, Sarah's mother approached us. Her fake smile present on her face as she raises a brow at us "girls are you sure that drinking right now is wise, why dont you join everyone else to watch the happy couple" I had to supress rolling my eyes at the old bat, honestly 'the happy couple' were more fake than the plastic surgery aunt Celia had.

"Its my fault aunt Celia, weddings aren't really my thing" I commented, no expression on my face as she attempted to furrow her brows "but Cameron dear, in every other family wedding you are rather involved" she responded as I sat my purse back down on the bar "yeah but I like the rest of my family" I told her as the girls stifled their laughs and aunt Celia huffed in disgust "why I-" she spoke cutting herself off, she loved giving insults but when it came to taking them then she might as well have been blindfolded in a maze.
