Chapter 2

Shion's Point of View

A few days have passed since Naruto's prank and today we are finally taking the test to become Genin. The first thing in the test we had to do was the writing test and then the taijustu and ninjustu tests afterwards. Iruka-sensei walks in to announce what justu we are going to do.

"For the genin test you are going to do the Clone Justu." As he said that I heard a groan next to me. I look next to me to see Naruto pale with his head hitting the desk groaning about why it had to be the Clone Justu. 'I feel bad for him considering that's his worst Justu' "I know right. He might fail again." 'Yea'

Timeskip

At the moment, I am talking to Naruto trying to comfort him while waiting for my turn to take the Genin test on Clone Justu. "Naruto, calm down. Your going to do fine." 'Probably. I hope.' "I know right?"

"But that's my worst Justu! I'm going to fail again and I don't want to drag you down again."

*Sigh* "Naruto.... Don't worry about it. It doesn't bother me." I said trying to comfort him.

"Ok, I guess..." He said calming down slightly.

"Good." I replied before hearing my name called. I get up leaving to go to the testing room. I knocked on the door as I get there for the door to open up to Iruka-sensei and a white-haired man standing next to him. 'Creep. I get a really bad feeling about him...' "I do to. Be careful around him."

"Hello, Shion. This is Muzuki-sensei. Also all you have to do to pass is make at least 3 clones to pass." He said smiling.

I nodded, expressionless, before doing the proper hands signs and focusing on controlling my chakra so I don't go over board by making to many. After hearing several poofs I looked to the side to see three perfectly made clones. Iruka-sensei then congratulated me and told me to grab a forehead protector. I looked at them and saw they only had blue ones.

"Do you have any black ones?" I asked. He nodded while smiling and proceeded to pull one out from a box from under the desk.

"We only give these to the ones who ask for them."

"Cool. Thank you" I said while staring at them blankly as I started to walk out. I then walked outside to wait until Naruto finishes. I sat on the swing watching as the rest of the kids were with there parents telling them about passing. 'Kura, I sometimes wonder why I'm alone.' "Your not, kit. You have me and Naruto. You will also probably gain more as time goes on as well. So just don't dwell on that." 'Ok, sorry....' "It's fine, kit, just don't forget that you're never alone and never will be as well." 'Yea... Thank you..' I replied, smiling slightly but it quickly disappears before anyone can see it. 'Ahh... I wonder how Naruto's doing...'

Naruto's Point of View

"NARUTO UZUMAKI"

Startled, I get up sweating bullets and wondering how I'm going to pass this. 'I don't want to hold Shion back again... he passes every time but gives it up if I failed while saying he doesn't want to pass alone....' I thought while walking to the testing room. I entered and saw Iruka-sensei standing next to a man with white hair. 'Hmmm.... Wonder who he is..'

"Hey Naruto. This person beside me is Mizuki-sensei."

"Hey Naruto." He said with a slightly stiff smile
