Aurius: The world of war and madness

The Beginning

Welcome to the world of Aurius, this place is a corrupt and mad world filled with danger around every corner.
This place used to be a world of lush life, happiness, and peace.
That is until January 20th, 2040 when the world became dark and dangerous. Nobody really knows how it started but the answer is still to come, this is a mysterious world that has clues on how it started...we just haven't found them yet.

"Let me introduce myself..I am Ruby an Aurus with the highest rank of S. I have the ability to use weapons made of aura and the gift of a deflector shield, but let's not get ahead of ourselves shall we?" I sit down and take out a small book "Let me tell you the story of the Aura children" I open to the first page and the story begins "Long ago the children were normal human beings with a normal happy life, they had friends and family just like you".
It was a beautiful day out and the sun is shinning. I am playing in the backyard with my favorite beach ball. I call out "Mommy! Come play with me!" Mom comes out and says "I'm sorry honey but I need to pay the bills!" She says as she is looking down from the deck.

I say "Ok! But can you play later! Pllllleeeaaassee! Mom sighs "Alright, maybe later.." I jump up with joy "Yay!" Mom says "But first you need to clean your room!" I say happily "Yay! I'll get that done before you pay the bills! Mom says laughing "Alright, but don't hurt yourself!" I say "Now why would I do that!" With a smile on my face I run inside and head up to my room, seconds later I hear a knock on the door and the sound of my Mom opening it. I hear a strange mans voice "Hi, I am Eddie Connwell from the government science facility" "I am here to ask you if you could cooperate with something for me?" Mom says "Oh..um..please..come in.." Eddie says politely "Thank you Ma'am" Eddie walks in as my Mother shuts the door behind him.
I come down the stairs and ask "Mom..who is that?" Mom says "Honey please go upstairs I'll be done in a minute". I go up the stairs and start cleaning my room, Eddie starts talking "Ma'am I would like you to bring your child to the research facility as soon as possible" Mom says puzzled and worried "Why? What is this for?" Eddie sighs "I wish I could tell you but that subject is classified even to me..." Mom says "Oh..." Eddie says "All I know is that this is to save this world..from the dark.." Mom gasps and she drops her coffee, she says as she panics "But that can't be! That happened 100 years ago!" Eddie says a second later "We have been looking at the earths condition and we think that today is the last day we all may enjoy a beautiful day" Mom starts to cry "This can't be happening! Not now!" Eddie replies "Will you help us?" Mom says still crying "Of course..I don't want my child to suffer.." She looks up at Eddie "I will get everything ready" Eddie says with a friendly smile "Alright, I will be waiting for your arrival" Eddie gets up with Mom and as she wipes her tears away. She lets Eddie walk out and get into his car, she walks up to my room and says "Honey..get your stuff packed" I say sitting on the floor "Wh..what for?" Mom says "I'll tell you on the way there..just get packed"
I get my bags out and start packing, I start to get worried but I do what my Mom told me too and get packed. I come out of my room with 2 bags and a suitcase, I say "I'm done Mom, what about you?" Mom comes out of her room "Of corse sweet heart..now..lets get going.." I nod "Ok"
We get to the car and my Mom unlocks it and we get in, Mom says as she starts the car "What I am about to tell you may frighten you..are you sure you want to hear it?" I think for a second "Of course!" She sighs "Alright, I guess you want to hear it..then I'll tell you.." She drives out of the drive way "Now, do you know about what happened 100 years ago?" I nod "Of course, we learned about that about a month ago in Social Studies" Mom says "Well, that may happen again..." My eyes widen "Really?! Oh my gosh!" We start to head towards the first stop sign and my Mother says "I'm a bit worried too...I don't know what is going to happen except for that I have to take you to the government science facility downtown" I gulp "What's going to happen then?" Mom says "That I don't know sweet heart, I wish I can tell you but I don't know.."
After 20 minutes of driving we finally get into the parking lot of the science facility, we get out of the car and see several other children walking into the building with their parents.

As we walked into the building, there were 20 other different scientists standing at the inside lobby where we all entered. One of the scientists, Eddie is in the front of the group. As we all come in Eddie starts by saying "Thank you to all who have cooperated with us, we are glad to have you here!" "First, I will be asking all parents to go into room A002 in the hallway to your left, a scientist will be with you momentarily" Mom says "Bye honey, behave" I say as I am hugging her "I will, no need to worry Mom" She says with a sigh of relief "Thank you sweet heart, I love you" She starts to head towards the room and I look at Eddie and the scientists behind him.
Eddie says "Alright children, we will be splitting you up into two groups" "You will be separated by gender, girls on the right and boys on the left please" All the girls go to the right of the lobby and all the boys go to the left of the lobby, Eddie says standing in the middle "Now, you all will be getting separate scientists to help you out" "Let me introduce you to our Male scientists, Ezra, Conor, Jack, Marco, Jacob, John, Jake, Scott, Ben, and Jackson" Then Eddie says turning to the girls "And then our Female scientists, Clara, Katherine, Crys, Lilly, Kayla, Baylee, Sandra, Mira, Kat, and Kara" He then says "These scientists will be with you during your day here"
The scientists come over to the children they were assigned too, the scientist I got was Mira. Mira says as she approaches me "Hi I'm Mira, what's your name?" I say "I'm Ruby, nice to meet you"

As the children and scientists get to know each other Eddie says "Alright! It seems all of you have gotten to know each other, let's get started!"
The girls went down one hallway and the boys went down the other, Kayla says "Alright girls, we will be going to room D003" We all keep following until we get into a dark room with a few lights and 10 different tubes.
Mira says to me "Alright, I am going to put these on you" She picks up a pair of headphones and puts them on me and I say "What are these for?" Mira says "You'll see" A scientist comes from the back room and says "Hi my name is Sky and I will be helping you girls today" I see my Mom and other adults coming in to a small room behind a wall of glass, they sit down and watch.
Sky then leads us to the tubes "Alright please get into the tubes and hold hands" Sky says, I get into one of the tubes and the girl next to me says "Hi my name is Milly" I reply with a small smile "My name is Ruby, I hope we can be friends" Milly nods and Sky says "Alright now close your eyes and think of your favorite thing to do" I do as sky says and I think about making people happy and playing outside, the tubes closes and I feel an energy building up inside me. I couldn't tell what it was but I did what I was told, moments later the aura children were born.
