The crisis (Pt.1)

Eddie says "What happened?!" I reply back "We were attacked after we killed the snake, but we managed to temporarily defeat them.." Eddie and a few others came to heal our wounds. Milly was scratched a little from debris falling during our battle, my headphones dimmed down and stopped. I sit down a quietly murmur "So this is the end..." Monsters still roaming the city but aren't paying any attention to us and the large groups of people underground, instead they scavenged the area in look for people who did not take cover. I then hear a scream from what it seemed like an elderly woman, seconds after the scream I look around to see a giant Minotaur like creature holding the woman by the head. My eyes widen and I gasp, the Minotaur opens its mouth and swallows the woman hole. The Minotaur then roars and walks off, my eyes widened by the sight of the nasty scene I just witnessed and I say to myself "W-what do these monsters get by eating humans.." Eddie comes up behind me and replies "The monsters need energy...so they eat livings things that are weak to them.." I grit my teeth "Just like elderly people..." I say with angered voice.  I look up at the sky and the sky was completely dark, the people underground were sending other people to get food and other things from the shops near by.
I ask "Hey Eddie..." Eddie replies "Yes?" I continue "Where will we go..." Eddie thinks "The science facility is is a fair condition but who knows what could have moved in there.." He says, one of the children say "Why don't we move in with the underground people" Eddie agrees "Yes, there is plenty of room for everyone down there" "Plus we could defend the people if something happens to find its way down there during the night."  Everyone agrees and heads to the underground area.
