Nightmares Do Come True

Chapter 3: What a world!

          It was 10:04 PM. The night of the grand opening of the "Upgrading" Center. Quinn was ready he a black leather jacket and jeans and a white T-shirt. He walked into the new "Upgrading" Center. The smell of fresh made food and the sound of people, people talking. Just a couple of steps he see a pretty girl. She was wearing a short white skirt and a yellow tube top. She was perfect! The right curves and everything! Quinn was ready to make his move. He walked up to the girl with the red hair and green eyes. As he walked up to her she saw him, her face became flirty and excited. "Hey I couldn't help but see you all the way across the room." He said, Her smile slowly went away. "Something wrong?" he asked "No, It's just that I thought you would say something better." She said, she turned her head away. Quinn slowly felt his face turn red. 

                  Nine and Xander enter the big building full of people. "Whoa, Umm....Is this the right place?" Asked Nine, "Yes! What are you scared?" Joking like, "No...Just whatever." Said Nine "Oh crap, Do you see those girls?" said Xander excited like. But without Nine answering Xander ran to the group of girls.  "Xander! Ugh!" Nine looked around, all he saw was people talking in nice clothes. He felt exposed. So he walked over to a wall away from everyone. He thought he would feel a lot better. Nope. Still the feeling of being exposed. 

       Then a fat man in a nice suit walked up to a stage on and three bright Holograms screens appeared behind him. "Hello everyone, Welcome to the grand opening of the "Upgrading" Center. Today we have some amazing things to show!" Then, three robots came up onto the stage. They were sliver and shiny, like nothing touch them ever. "These are the "Upgrading" robots! They will handle any mischief rule breakers." He said like he saved the world. Nine had to look away it disgusted him. What has the world become? 

        The fat man swiped his hand and appear on the holo screens and a girl Nine's age with green hair and brown eyes, a old man half dead and a big strong man. Everyone and everything froze. It was like time stopped. Everyone's eyes were on the screens. Nobody ever got to see what a real "Upgrading" looked like. Nine's eyes were stuck on the screen, he wanted to stop looking but he couldn't. It was like his eyes were glued on the screen, unable to move. 

        Quinn looked at the screen to see a cute girl with green hair and brown eyes. She was struggle and yelling. The sound of doors opening revealing a shiny robot moving closer to the girl. She went up to the robot and kicked it hard. But it didn't stop. It was moving closer and closer to her. The strong guy was yelling and screaming in pain. It was hard to watch, so Quinn just listen instead of watching. Quinn stop looking at the screen and walked out of the crowd and walked into a hallway. He was hoping there wasn't any screens but they were everywhere! Quinn wander around looking for a place that didn't have the Holograms. After a couple of minutes no luck, the strong guy was gone he was now shiny and no more of him left but a body. Quinn gave up and decided to hear the screams of the dead people echo in his ears.
