The Only One

"Alright tweet me @daviddobrik and uh anything to add Y/N?" David asked doing his stupid outro for his daily vlog,

"what will it take to be a thumbnail?" I ask dancing in the background to music only I hear.

"Kiss Alex and maybe you'll be the thumbnail." He said laughing. I ran into Alex's room where he was reading a book on his bed. I ran over to him and jumped on his bed. I got really close to him and gave him a kiss right on his lips.

Alex kissed back but only for a brief second before I ended it, "what's going on?" he asked sitting up. He then saw David and every question was answered. "you guys are stupid."

David walked out still talking to his camera and I got off of Alex bed and made my way to the door before he stopped me "' hey so that was just for the vlog right?" he asked grabbing my arm.

"uh yeah why? You scared I might like you Alex?" I taunted and started laughing.

"haha no no nothing like that I just needed to be able to explain it when gabby asked." He said going to sit back down.

"why would gabby ask?" I asked genuinely confused.

"oh yeah. Me and her are kinda dating now." He said scratching his neck.

Ouch. I turned around and walked out of his room and out of the apartment without saying bye to David or Lizza. I got down to my car and sat in the driver seat and started to cry. See I love Alex. I've been in love with him for over a year and I knew it'd hurt if he started dating someone I just didn't think he would. Cried for a good 5 minutes and finally started my car and drove off.

*Alex POV*

God I'm stupid. I don't even really like Gabby. I just couldn't keep living the way I was. I got up and went out to the kitchen and went in the fridge to get a beer. I mean Gabby's cool and all but I don't love her like how I do with Y/N. I know I shouldn't say that but it's the truth. Sadly, she'll always be too good for me. After our kiss a part of me wanted to hear her say she kissed me because she liked me. I opened my beer and took a drink. Gabby will be here soon. She'll make me forget it.

"hey, where did Y/N run off to?" Lizza asked and I just shrugged. "don't shrug. You know where she went. Does this have to do with that thing you told me about last week?" she whispered to me. I just kinda nodded and she sat at the breakfast bar. "Tell me what happened."

"I can't." I said point at David who was still vlogging.

"David! Stop vlogging." Lizza yelled and she turned back to me waiting for me to start.

David walked over and sat on the other stool next to Lizza. "What's going on? Where'd Y/N go?" he asked putting his camera down on the table.

"Alex here hasn't been telling you something. Can I tell him?" Lizza asked and I just nodded. "Alex is in love with Y/N."

"No way?! You actually love someone besides yourself?" David asked laughing.

"David this is serious." Lizza said hitting him

"Oh. This is for real?" David asked and I just nodded again. "well where'd she go?"

"yeah where did she go?" Lizza asked.

"She just left. I had asked her if she kissed me for the vlog or if- "I started to say but was cut off abruptly.

"SHE KISSED YOU?!" Lizza screamed and looked between me and David.

"Yeah she wanted to be the thumbnail so I told her to kiss Alex." David said and I nodded again.

"anyway. I asked if it was for the vlog or if it was because of something more. She told me just for the vlog then I told her that's good cause I just needed something to tell Gabby. - "I said being cut off again by Lizza.
