People say that hope is what keeps you alive.
People say that hope is the key to one being able to survive.
People say things and people lie.
I know this because all hope does truly is make you want to die.
It builds inside of you and fills you with splendor,
Only to break you down once its ripped out from under.
I've learned another thing too, and that one never ever should you try,
One cannot crash and burn should they never have attempted to fly.
