Second thoughts

Its been two weeks since v oppa asked me to marry him. I'm still surprised how it all played off so drastically. Hmm , I'm probably a handful for v oppa to deal with most of the time. Sigh. Doesn't change the fact that he wants to continue our life together.

It was noon , as I sat at the coffee shop thinking about how the wedding would go, weather to have it small and simple or a big wedding with everyone both V and i knew.

V oppa mentioned he would go with anything I wanted. But it doesn't make it any easier. Its my first and only wedding after all. I want it to be memorable for both oppa and I.

You continued thinking as a sudden voice interrupted you "y/n, is that you? " you looked up from your coffee to see, no other than your ex boyfriend of only a couple months , jeon jungkook. 

"Kookie? What are you doing here?" I stood up welcoming him as he approached me. "Came to get me some coffee of course ,you know the usual-" "French vanilla" you both said and started laughing.

He sat down at your table. "What are you up to?" He smiled. "Just thinking about...stuff you know" I said unsure weather or not to bring the marriage topic.

"Planning your wedding huh?'' He smirked. " you know about it?" I eyed him. " of course I do, I've got tabs on you remember?" He laughed " yahh! What tabs" you laughed along. 

"I'm kidding , everyone that knows you, knows about your wedding. You are dating the C.E.O of a big company you know!" He explained.

"I guess so " i sipped my coffee. "so are you excited?" He smiled .  "uh.. its my first wedding, so i guess .."

"hmm, i remember when i was your first y/n!" he smirked and took a sip of his coffee. "...jungkook-ah" i frowned. " what?, " he smirked. 

 "Are you seeing someone though?" i looked up at him. 

"Nope. stayed single for those two years, patiently waiting." 

"Ahh" i looked down to my coffee. "i hope you find the right girl for you!" i continued. He looked at me, questionably.

"Y/n!" he voiced. 

" i think i should leave now..its getting a bit late" i tried as i stood up.

"remember that promise we made to eachother 2 years ago before we decided to break up?" he looked up at me with slightly pained eyes. 

 I looked down at the floor,hesitant to answer "no, i dont remember!" i lied.

Flashback

Kookie oppa and you were both in a relationship of six months, when a sudden strain on your relationship caused you two to decide to break up, when you had to live abroad to study because of your parents.  However a promise was made that after those two years you'll try to make it work again. It pained you two alot to have to split up. You cried alot that day in kookie's arms, shaking by the fact that it came to this. That day you two parted ways holding eachother in your hearts.

 Alot had happened within those two years that none of you both were expecting. You, were under a lot of stress at school, trying to keep your grades up and also work part time to support yourself since your parents decided you were old enough to take care of yourself financially.

Jungkook became co-owner of a sports company and with that came a lot of responsibility and events that took up a lot of time and energy. However Jungkook remained single, single and in love with you since day one, believing you did the same as well.
