On the ground, a large brown animal growls at the ship, inside: Jace, Calista, Holly and a semi-conscious Taxon stare frantically at the large animal.
"What do we do!" Holly screams. "If we land anywhere near it-it's gonna tear us apart!"
Calista tears up, as she stares at the beast.
Taxon kneels, and coughs up a bit of blood, "Try-try to attack it with one of the-center-dials." He coughs a bit more-this time only dry coughs.
"NO." Jace screeches, and everyone looks to him, "CAN'T YOU SEE THE THING ISN'T GROWLING AT US! HE'S GROWLING AT THE SUN! IT DOES EVERY DAY AT NOON!" He finishes with a large intake of air.
Holly throws her head back in laughter and then her face turns serious, "There is no way I'm landing with that thing anywhere near-."
Jace presses a large blue button and the ship drops, making Calista grip onto her seat, and Taxon crumble over in a ball, the ship lands and the large animal sniffs the air and begins to growl.
Jace smiles and heads for the door.
"Wait." Taxon mumbles, standing up he breathes out, "You'll need hyperventilation masks." Everyone gives him a confused look, "It's not an actual mask-it's a capsule you take that creates a protective layer on your lungs and internal organs."
Shaking his body as he goes, Jace snatches a capsule from Taxon's hands, as does Holly and Calista and they all take one.
"ALL RIGHT LETS GO EXPLORING!" Jace opens the door and steps out of the ship, and begins jumping around looking at everything.
Inside the metal ship, Holly and Calista place their helmets on their heads, as does Taxon.
"He's gonna get us all killed." Holly mumbles and Calista giggles.
"I think it's cute. Let him enjoy being on his home planet-it's something we'd all kill for." She instantly shuts up as Taxon grumbles.
"Yea-except me. Born and raised on the "K" military base. I'm a friggin pure blood."
The three step out of the ship and the door closes with a thud behind them.
Holly and Calista gaze around in awe, as Taxon simply crosses his arms and keeps an eye on the large brown creature.
It has a round face, with a squashed in nose, its ears are large and droopy, and its body is large and round. Resembling a cross between a large dog and a bear.
Jace currently hugs a light brown tree, he back flips and lands near Calista.
"Isn't this place amazing?" He coos, blushing a bit.
"It really is. I'm sorry for ever doubting this place existed." She replies.
Holly rolls her eyes and turns her back, instead of facing Jace she faces Taxon, and further ahead the animal. "Wow-it must be amazing to guess the name of a planet correctly, big whoop." She walks away and comes to stand beside Taxon.
"Party pooper." Jace mumbles.
"Don't let her get you down!" Calista giggles and Jace giggles too.
The animal now notices the group, it sniffs and lets out a loud roar, this makes the trees sway and the team brace themselves.
It charges them, pushing past Taxon and Holly, they stare in awe as it charges Jace and Calista.
