Chapter 18 (END)

The next morning, i put on my shoes and walked to school. However, someone waited for me leaning on the bricks.

"Good Morning!" Mark? He turned and waved at me smiling sincerely.

"Eerr.. Good Morning. Why are you here?" I asked while scratching my head.

"To walk with you. Let's go," he gestured his hand to let me go first. Then, he walked beside me. It was silence and awkward.

"Holiday is coming, where are you planning to go to?" He started. I was not sure where to go. Maybe stay at home?

"I'm not sure," i answered looking down blankly.

"Do you want to go out with me?" He asked. I was about to blush. Is he asking me out?

"To where? Only me...and...you?" I gulped. My heart was beating for answers.

"Since it is a two weeks holiday, let's go to the new carnival near our school on one of those weeks. I'm not sure if the others would want to cos most of them are going overseas from what i know," is he trying to convince to go with him...only?

"Sure," i smiled. Omg! Why did i just said.

"Great! I'll update you soon!" We walked and finally reached school. We went to separate ways since our school were opposite to each other.

*vibrate* From Mark;

Mark: See you later! Enjoy your lesson 😊

Why is he sending me this? This is the first time he sent me a message. Are we really like "couple" already?

After school~~~

It was my last day of work as my contract ended. It would be a grey memories together. I did not know what to do after that. Probably, just study hard for university?

I was on the way to work and suddenly Mark was there too. Why is here again? Why am i meeting him again?

"Hi!" He smiled.

I smiled and we headed to the cafe. I started working while Mark sat on the chair playing with kids. He looked charming when playing with kids. I smiled widely looking at his behaviour towards the kids.

Unfortunately, our eyes met and i tried to look away doing something else. Then, Mark walked towards me. I fixed my uniform and looked at him feeling intense. He was getting closer and closer making my heart beat even faster.

"Your hair is in a mess. Let me tie for you," he turned my shoulder and pulled a hairband from my messy ponytail. He tie it neatly. Thus, i looked back at him and thank to him.

"Ayee~~ is there something fishy between you guys?" I was stunned as Ji Hyo appeared and teased. I could not stop blushing so i looked down. Mark went back to where he came from and continue playing with the kids.

At last! I have ended my contracted work. I was gonna miss the cafe and my manager. I hope i could visit it again in the future. I hugged and thanked the other full-timer staffs. I was glad to have the by my side when i was in trouble with approaching the customer. I have gain confidence and of course Mark made me realised that no one is perfect.

Mark waited for me outside. He gave me a hot chocolate that he bought. He was so romantic. I blushed. We walked home together feeling awkward. I looked at the sky smiling and did not realise that Mark was staring at me.

Beep!

"Look out!" Mark pulled me into his arm and he defended me from the on-coming vehicle. That was close.
