Preference 10 - Meeting the parents

Niall: You pouted as you stared at yourself in the mirror and Niall came up behind you. “What’s the problem babe? I know that look on your face!” You pouted again. “Niall, your mother is going to hate me!” Niall stepped back. “No, she will love you, she’s already fallen in love with you over what i’ve told her, imagine what she’s going to think when she actually meets you!” You mumbled. “Wow, that’s the girl?” Niall spun you around and grabbed your arm. “She wont say that at all!” “And how do you know that one Niall?” Light footsteps behind you made you freeze in Niall’s arms. “Because i can already tell you are a beautiful girl and perfect for my Niall!” Niall let go of you and you turned around to face his mom, Maura. “Hi, i’m (YN)!” Maura giggled. “Nice to finally meet you, (YN)! Welcome to the family!"                  

Liam: Liam could not help but laugh as you ran back and forth in your apartment making sure everything was perfect for Liam’s parents when they visited you. “(YN), will you stop? They’re pulling into the driveway as we speak!” You froze midway through the hall and turned to face Liam. “They cant be here yet! I am so not ready to meet them!” Liam held in another laugh and opened the door. “Well they are, and they want to meet you!” Karen stepped in first and smiled proudly at her son. “You did well, Liam! She’s gorgeous!” You blushed as she came over and gave you a tight squeeze. “Hey there, (YN)! Welcome to the family! Cant wait to get to know you some more!” You looked at her confused. “You really want to know more about me?” This time Liam’s dad answered. “Of course, we want to know as much about our future daughter in law as possible!”                      

Harry: You arrived in front of Anne’s house and sat in your seat, just staring at the house. Finally Harry sighed and interupted the silence. “We have to go in, (YN)! Trust me, you’ll love her and she’ll be sure to make you feel right at home!” You looked at him. “And if she doesnt?” He cracked out a smile. “Then she’s not my mom, now come on, let’s go! She probably has dinner done!” You sighed and got out of the car, quickly following behind Harry and grabbing his hand as he used his other hand to open the door. When you walked in you were overwhelmed with pictures of Harry and Gemma from when they were kids. You giggled when Harry stopped walking and he stared at you. “What?” You pointed to a picture. “You were a cute baby, Styles!” Just then Anne came around the corner and smiled at the two of you. “And from what i can see, we’ll have many more cute grandkids to look at!” You blushed. “We just started dating, Anne!” She shook off what you said. “Dont matter, i still see grandkids coming from the two of you!”    

Zayn: You sat on the couch with Zayn holding your hand, waiting for his parents to come home from whatever it was that they were doing. You began to tap your fingers and Zayn put his hand over yours even more to stop it. “Relax, (YN)!” “How?” you muttered. Zayn just laughed. “You’re making this to be more difficult than it should be!” You glared at him. “And what do you mean by that? Am i overreacting?” Zayn nodded. “You told me to always be honest with you, so that’s exactly what i’m doing! Yes you are overeacting!” And with that you tackled him to the ground laughing. “Take it back, take it back!” He quickly had you pinned underneath him, and just then the door opened and both you and Zayn looked up and straight at his parents. “Hey mom and dad!” Zayn said, not moving. His dad laughed at the two of you. “Glad you two get along so well! Dinner will be done soon!” His mom walked behind Zayn and put her hand on his shoulder. “Be nice to her, Zayn! She looks like a keeper already!”    

Louis: “This is a bad idea, Lou!” you said as you sat in the booth in the back of the restauraunt waiting for his mom to come and have lunch with the two of you. “It is not a bad idea, now stop tapping your legs, you’re driving me crazy!” he laughed. You smiled at him. “I’m sorry, it’s just i’m super nervous, Lou! What if i’m not good enough for you in her eyes?” Louis shook his head and wrapped his arm around you. “Then i’ll ignore what she says, because you’ll always be perfect for me!” “So, if she hates me?” “Then i will always love you!” You looked over his head and smiled. “Hi, i’m (YN)!” Johanna laughed. “Its nice to meet you, now why would i hate someone that makes my only son so happy? I dont see that happening, (YN)! I already adore you for dealing with my troublemaker! He’s your troublemaker now!” You looked at Louis. “Yeah, he is my troublemaker, but i love him!”
