Closing the Book

In the darkness around her,he was her light.
When he was around her, the world seemed so bright.
His touch was so electrifying, the arms that held her right.
It felt so safe and secure,but she knew it lasted only for a night.
Tomorrow is a new day,the sun will shine in the east.
He will be gone tomorrow, the thing she wanted the least.
She try not to think of tomorrow, cuz tonight she wanted it to be the best.
She talked to him the whole night and wished this would never come to an end.
He tickled, he teased,he cuddled,Alas! It was just a trip down her memory lane.
And in her mind she clicked a picture of his mesmerising sleeping face.
She compared her life with the withering flowers in the vase.
The sun showed its presence, the birds sang the song.
She was upset as she knew everything was going wrong.
She wanted him to stay and she would never let him go.
But he was already gone,she wished the night would have been slow.
It ached to see him with other woman,she had to forget him she knew.
But lil did she know that was the hardest thing to do?
She vowed that she would never meet him again.
But destiny played her own games.
She saw him once again,today he was different and he was sweet as hell.
She knew it was their last meet,so she wanted it to be neat.
The time flew by and he was gone forever.
She promised herself she would move on and would think about him never.
And here she closed their book,giving all their memories a final look.
