As Janet laughed at talked to Darius, Jasmine and Shariah, she couldn't help but hear the low commotion going on down the aisle of Applebee's. Since she was sitting next to Aaliyah and she was on the end, she could slyly look down the aisle and see what was going on.
Since Aaliyah excused herself to the bathroom.
When she did she wished that she hadn't.
She could see Aaliyah apologizing to the waiter but as Aaliyah began to walk away someone stopped her.
It was Janet's biggest crush.

"I am so sorry. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you. Are you okay?",I repetitively asked.
The waiter was more than nice about me almost running him over. Although he did step back into me.
"No no it's fine. Don't worry about it ma'am."
He gave me a slight smile before walking off. I hadn't even paid attention to who was sitting at the table until someone gently grabbed my arm.
I looked down to see the man from the grocery store. I instantly jerked away.
He was so rude before until I didn't know what to expect now.
He laughed. Showing off his diamond in his mouth.
"I know we got off on the wrong foot but I apologize for my behavior at the grocery store that night.",he said with a slight grin.
My eyebrows rose and I folded my arms.
"Really? Apology accepted. Anything else you want."
He seemed amused by my never breaking attitude. He smiled and tucked his lips in showing his deep dimples.
I almost died inside. And he smelt good too.
"Yo come sit with me real quick.",he said.
His phone in hand with his to go box on the table.
My face remained cold.
"It seems to me like you're ready to leave."
I hesitated towards his bagged food.
He gave me a look and I sighed. Sitting down across from him.
He slightly leaned over the table.
"So um. My name is Scar. Yours?",he asked.
I chuckled as I could feel eyes on me. I checked my surroundings seeing no one in particular.
"Aaliyah.",I said with a slight smile.
He nodded.
"So she does smile huh?"
I laughed and so did he. His voice was so deep and raspy that I just knew I had to get away from him.
