Shariah sat there in disbelief that she was pregnant. She'd known for days now but had no one to tell. She despised Aaliyah. Her newfound best friend Janet wasn't answering her phone, and Quavion was no where to be found.

While she reveled in her discovery, Scar had just awoken in a prison hospital room. Still grieving over the loss of his dear friend, Quavion.

I sat there and stared up at the gray brick ceiling for a while before I started hearing voices. Voices declaring that I was awake and soon after I saw faces standing above me. Waving their hand over my face and their pocket flashlights in my eyes.

Just to go no response out of me.

I was hurt. Hurt so badly that I didn't know how I'd be able to deal with life anymore. Hurt so badly that I didn't know if I even wanted to live anymore

Everything was crashing down around me and I didn't know how to fix it.

"Sir please answer us.",a female nurse said.

My eyes slowly radiated over to her face. Along with several other nurses behind her.

But all I worried about was Aaliyah and Quavion.

"Yeah."

My voice was raspy and shaken. Like I hadn't spoken for days.

She sighed in relief.

"How do you feel? Are you alright?",she asked.

I slowly sat up before nodding. I stared down at my hands. Hands that've dealt so much badness and harm into the world. I could only wonder if all of this was happening to me for a reason.

"Well we'll release you today but you'll have to be monitored and put on medicines for depression. You'll have to check in with us every other day for therapy while we work through this together alright?"

I nodded and she began checking my vitals. Feeling a woman's touch again sent shivers down my spine and warm feelings up my arm.

I missed Aaliyah.

She checked my heart beat and her cleavage became exposed to my view. Making me want her.

But I wanted her because I wished that she was Aaliyah. And that someway she could bring her back to me. And that some how I could pretend that she was her for the time being. For a little while I could pretend I had her back in my arms.

The nurse smiled up at my as she caught my gaze.

"I'm going to be your nurse for today sir. Is there anyone you'd like for me to call? Family, friends, girlfriend, baby mama perhaps?"
