"Rumble. Watch your back guardian." Shaxx voice boomed as I generated into the battlefield that was refereed to as the Crucible. "Well Omega, lets see how well these new boomers work." I smirked. I took off at a sprint towards the center of the map. The landscape of Venus was beautiful at this time of the day. A shame I couldn't stay and take it in. It didn't take long till I was face to face with a Hunter, she was firing wildly at me with her hand cannons. I ducked behind cover only after taking a few shots to my energy shield. I tossed an axion bolt grenade over the small wall I was hiding behind. I slid out shortly afterwards, landing two shots against the hunter's head and letting the grenade finish her off. "Well, the thing is accurate I'll give it that."

I pulled out my shotgun, that needed to get tested too. And before I could react a Titan's knee was mere inches from my face. I panicked and fired a shot directly into his chest, stopping him cold.  "Well I guess that works too" I said leaning against the wall, trying to get my servos to slow back down.

Just then I pulled back into orbit and into my ship, still fully dressed in armor and holding my shot. "Omega! What the hell?" I asked, slightly confused and angry.  Before I got a response from him, Nemori's voice came through my helmet. It was extremely distorted and filled with static.

"Aero...... To the Reef...... Under Attack...... Taken forces..... Oryx........ She's wounded....... Aero if you can hear this........ Reef-"

Then the message dropped out. I snapped back to reality. "Omega! Reef, now!" I said pulling my helmet off and tossing it to the side. "Already on it." He said as I barely managed to sit in my chair before we were hurtling through space towards the Reef. "ETA 10 minutes"

I groaned. "I need everything you know about Oryx, now." Omega didn't reply, but flooded my head with pictures and information about him. Oryx, The Taken King. Breaking the will of the weaker minions of the Dark and turning them into his own twisted slaves. Then I saw his ship. The Dreadnought. The Queen had a mighty armada, but I doubt it would be able to withstand a battleship like that.

My ship finally arrived at the Reef, and my optics widened. Before me lay the remnants of hundreds, maybe thousands of ships. Some of a glowing white and black pattern, others of the Queens armada. And the fight was far from over. Plasma soared across the blackness of space, ripping into the Dreadnought. But the ship seemed unaffected by the Queen's artillery. There was a large sphere, nearly glowing from the center of the Dreadnought. It kept getting brighter.

Unfortunately I had no idea what this weapon was, and thus I was completely unprepared for the shock wave the followed. I rolled my ship, trying to avoid the blast, but to no avail, the wave of energy sheared off the wing of my ship, and sent me hurdling towards the Dreadnought.

The world was a blur, I couldn't see which way I was going, All I could see was the Black wall in front of me that was the Dreadnought. Then Nemori's voice cut through again.

"AERO-----"

And that was the last thing I heard before I plowed headfirst into the Dreadnought, and into darkness.

My head was throbbing, Everything hurt. I was confident that I was slowly going to die here. My arm was pinned under something. I couldn't tell yet. It hurt to move anything. I tried to calm down, tried to get a straight head.

I couldn't stay here. Oryx and his taken army would be here shortly to dispose of me. I needed to move. Now. I slowly moved my head, straining against the pain so I could see what was pinning my right arm. It was apart of the control console. There was no way in hell I was moving that in my state.
