A/N: ELLO! Just wanted to know if I switch the POV's too much? And if I should just stick to Jamie's POV for the rest of the book? Give feedback please.
Zayn's POV:
I am in awe.
Absolute awe.
How does a girl learn how to shoot like that?! Jamie was all over the place, getting everyone on the stomach (where you get more points). I think she only managed to get shot about twice? And those were both accidents.
But I was starting to et really annoyed with Niall. Whenever Jamie was busy and turning away, he would be shooting like a pro (well not as much as Jamie), taking down 4 at a time whenever Jamie's back was to him. Beginner? Bullshit.
And when the bomb had gotten off, he had 'covered' her with himself, draping his body over her. I'm pretty sure you don't have to cover your face, I thought as I saw his head was an inch away from hers.
But I wasn't the only one noticing Ni's antics. Whenever Jamie was looking away and Nialler was shooting, everyone else would try to direct her attention to Ni. Connor had even sacrificed himself to be shot as he called out Jamie's name while Niall was shooting him. James passed her line of view then running behind her so she could see Niall. But the damn leprechaun was always a step ahead of us.
I heard the buzzer go off and a voice calling out to the intercom 'Your session is over, please exit the arena through the yellow doors. Thank you for playing with Lazer Zone.'
"That was great!" Niall shouted, grabbing Jamie's hands, bringing her into a little celebratory dance. "Thanks so much for helping!"
He. Needs. To. Stop. Hugging. And. Touching. Her....preferably now.
"S'alright." Jamie said, beaming up at him. "Come on guys, let's check out our scores." She led us to the counter where the TV was displaying our scores "Whoah Ni. You got 2nd!!"
"All thanks to you, of course." Niall responded, giving a 'bashful' smile.
I laughed as Harry passed by them muttering "cough BULLSHIT cough" then coughing up for real a little. Preach it, Harry.
"Jams! Your shift is over!"
I looked over at the Greek looking guy hand in 'Jams' her bag.
"Thanks babe!" She have him a peck on the cheek and walked away to the door.
All of the lads and I followed after her .
"Who was he?" Louis asked.
"Co-worker." She answered.
"JUSTa co-worker? He seems...friendly."
"He just always tries to flirt with me but it's nothing serious."
I don't think that's what he's thinking, looking at Greek boy staring at her through the shop window, while every once in a whole sending is glares. More competition, just great.
"I'm hungry. Jamie would you like to join us for lunch?" Liam asked.
"Sure, why not ?"
"I hope you don't mind if we join you, right guys?" Brad asked, giving us a grin but you could tell it was absolutely fake.
"Can they?!" Jamie asked, giving me and the lads the biggest, most adorable puppy dog eyes they have ever seen.
"O-of course they can." Harry answered defeatedly.
"We better get going then." Connor replied, grinning like a goddamn rapist.
We all piled into our own cars, ok all the boys are in, the vamps were in their own van, I looked back outside.
"Jamie, love, have you got a ride?" Ed asked.
"No. My car's in the auto shop having a paint job."
"Well then I'll give you a ride, come on love."
I watched Jamie blush and enter the
Ed's car. Jesus Christ! Ed was part of this game too?! I have too much competition. Too goddamn much.
"Follow me boys, I know a nearby bistro we can head over to!" Ed shouted from the window of his car.
"For Narnia!" Jamie shouted as they rode off.
Even though I was still pissed over Ed, I couldn't help but smile. This girl will be the death me.
