Chapter 9 Tournament begins

Its time, I couldn't get any sleep because I was so excited. I got dressed, opened the door and siren the messenger was there. What do you want?
"I'm here to give you the battle gear to represent your academy"
She hands me the clothes, wait this could be the time to ask siren to be my partner again. So siren would you like to be my partner since it's a new day and all?
"Never"
Then she slams the door right in front of me, man she has a bad temper like micro. The battle gear was pretty cool ; it was a short sleeved padded hoodie with the weapon academy symbol and combat pants. She also handed me box, it had a pistol in it with a letter, it said
"This is for you, you're going to be special one day don't prove me wrong at the tournament, from Light kingdom elder."
Sweet I have to do my best so I ran out to the park to meet Yuki. When I got to the park I saw Yuki but she seemed weird.
"Lasko cover your eyes now!"
For what, oh man I closed my eyes and waited to open them again, so Yuki can I look now?
"yes you can"
I opened them and Yuki had on a dress with a short skirt. Hey Yuki you know that we are going to fight other people not going to a fancy place.
"I know that you idiot this is medic support gear"
Really well, you want head to the store before we go?
"yea that sounds nice I guess" Yuki and I arrived at the tournament building and went to the waiting room. We saw a lot of people there and waiting until things started. The scary teacher guy Mr. Afju was the instructor, oh great, he came over to me.
"so Lasko your participating, I'll see you in the loser room when it's your turn to fight."
I'm going to win this thing you'll see just wait and see.
He walked away and starting to start the tournament,
"my name is Mr. Afju, I'm a sinew teacher here. Your all here to prove yourselves to be powerful warriors. We are going to begin first grab a number and head to the field tests, now get going."
Yuki and I got our number, we got number 9 and we headed to the fighting area. Mr. Afju was standing in the middle of the ring, he called up team 2 and 7. Team 2 was these two weak guys from the symbol they were in the intel academy same as rail. They have no fighting skill, team 7 was these two twins with red hair, one was a girl the other was a guy. They kind of looked crazy with that bright red hair and they had tails. I don't think they are humans; the countdown began to start. When it hit zero team 2 didn't move and team 7 pulled out twin blades. They moved on their hands and legs, they were going so fast charging at them. I could barely see them, one of the twins used their tail to choke one of the members of team 7 and the other twin stabbed the next in the knee disabling him. They eventually both gave up, those twins are amazing, they started walking over the stands by us. Hey you guys, that was amazing.
"thanks I'm Kiri Kazuto and this is my brother Kato Kazuto"
I'm Lasko and this my partner Yuki, we are number 9, do you know who we face?
"yes, you have to face Rango Scyne and Kyle Ladderman the strongest people in the tournament well except us"
What really, well Yuki looks like were screwed.
"hey Lasko and Yuki you're up next you better get going"
We started making our way down to the battleground we both slowly walked down the steps. I looked over to Yuki, she looked confident, hey Yuki good thing you're not scared. She turned and looked at me with a scary look,
"I would be confident if you weren't so useless, but I'm kind of useless to."
Hey what did I do, you can only paralyze people nothing lethal.
"Lasko looks like we're going to the loser room."
No, Yuki we're going to win this no matter what. I put it on my life, if it don't end right here at least.
"that speech was cool until you put yourself down"
Whatever, Yuki time to go, remember we are going to win this put in all effort
"right let's go"
