Louis's POV-
I woke up and stretched out standing up. Everyone was sleeping, even Harry was sleeping right there half way on Luci's bed. poor Harry I have never seen him this tore up before. I decided to get Zayn and Niall up and head down to get us a room and some food and we'll be back in a bit. I couldn't get Zayn to wake up so I was just gonna carry him down to the car but once I got to the front door I saw almost a hundred fans looking around waiting to see one of us. At times the fans can get annoying and a time like this is one of them.
This is a personal kinda situation where we need our privacy. Don't get me wrong, we love our fans and we would do anything to to please them but this isn't the time for pictures and autographs. I ducked away and Niall followed before they could see us. A security guard Paul had hired saw us and got a few of the hospital guards to clear the place of all fans and all the paps to where we could get to the car safe. I explained everything to them on the way to the hotel once Zayn woke up.
"We could make tacos they're Harry's favorite and they are quick" Niall suggested once we got into the hotel room.
"Good idea you guys stay here and relax and get a shower I'm gonna get the stuff." I said leaving before they could argue.
Liam's POV-
I woke up and everyone was gone but Harry who was sitting in a chair by Luci's bed and holding her hand rubbing circles with his thumb on the top of her hand and softly singing her favorite song. I looked at her pale face and I thought of the day I found her and she was being beaten by that bastard, the fear and pain in her eyes tore my heart out even though I didn't know her she was family and it hurt me to see her like that. She looked somewhat peaceful. She still looked sick but not in pain or fear. I walked over and put my head on Harry's shoulder causing him to jump.
"oh hey Liam there's a fold up bed over there if you wanna use it the others are renting a hotel room and are gonna bring us food to eat so we don't have to leave or eat hospital food." Harry said looking up at me. I looked over at the beds and decided to go she them up.
"so how is she this morning Haz?" I asked fixing the first bed for Harry and sliding it next to Luci's bed.
"we won't know till a few days when they get the nutrients and hydration back into her system but the nurse did say she's not. looking any worse which she said was good" he said brushing his hand down her face gently. Louis, Zayn, and Niall walked in holding bags full of food that smelled really good. I only just realized how hungry I was. My stomach let out a growl.
"Someone sounds hungry." Niall laughed and handed me a taco. I took the taco and thanked him.
"what about you Haz?" Louis asked looking at Harry.
"ummm sure thanks" he said only looking away for a second.
"what's wrong mate you keep staring at her like she'll get up and leave if you look away" Niall said walking towards Luci's bed.
"I know I probably sound crazy but I could of swore I heard her mumble something" he explained. She mumbled something? That was a good sign......right?
Zayn’s POV:
I fell asleep in the hospital and woke up in a hotel room. Louis explained the situation to me and we took tcos back up to the hospital for liam and harry.
“I know i probably sound crazy but i could have swore i heard her mumble something” i heard harry say staring at Luci. i have been trying to avoid looking at her as much as possible. the first time i saw her in the condition she was in it really broke my heart. as much as i hate to admit it i was for a fact in love with her. After everyone ate and liam took the others home i stayed behind for a bit. Harry was in the shower so i used this time to spend some time with luci.
“hey they luci.” i said taking hold of her hand sending bolts of electricity up my arm. i never felt that with perrie. i sighed as i saw her chest rise slowly and fall down. she looked bad. i felt a tear roll down my cheek. at least they took the breathing tube out and she was able to breath on her own.
“luci. i am so sorry you’re in this mess” i whisper to her giving her hand a squeeze. i sat down next to her in harry’s chair. i laid my head on the bed still holding her hand for a few minutes.
“i know you may not even hear me but i need to get this off my chest.....luci. over the year you’ve been with us i have grown to realize i think i'm in love with you” i said standing up and sitting on the bed beside her. i sighed and looked at her.
“but then again why would you love me back.....you have harry who is perfect and everyone love harry and me....i'm just plain old zayn.” i looked down at the ground hoping she couldn’t hear me. i looked over at he t see a tear rolling down her cheek.
“you can hear me can’t you” i asked wiping the tear rolling down her face.
“i'm so sorry about this but i gotta know” and with that i leaned down and kissed her and i suddenly felt her squeeze my hand and i think she kissed back.....she kissed me back! i pulled back to see her weakly looking back in my eyes.
“i'm so sorry luci” i said quickly looking away. she just looked at me confused with tears in her eyes and ask “harry?” she thought i was harry......no this isn’t right.
Harry’s POV-
Liam took the lads back to their hotel and zayn wanted to stay for a bit while i showered. i had just got out and wrapped the towel around my waist and quietly poked my head to see how luci. was doing with zayn.
“but then again why would you love me back.....you have harry who is perfect and everyone love harry and me....i'm just plain old zayn.” i heard zayn say. but wait what was he talking about love him back. i stayed and listened for a moment till i heard him say that he was sorry that he had to know....know what? thats when i saw him lean in and kiss luci. he kissed my luci.
i just stood there shocked. i couldn't believe he would even try something like that and to make it worse she woke up from his kiss. my heart shattered when i heard her call him harry.....was her memory was messed up? i ran back in the bathroom and slammed the door locking it and sliding down the wall and hugging my knees and cried.
