You walk into maths, dreading the long lonely hour that awaits you. Everyone is already sat down and talking to their friends before the teacher walked in, you eyes scan the room and land on the only empty seat left. Next to the green eyed stranger. You gulp down your fears and walk towards him, he doesn't notice you at first as he has his head on the desk next to his book. *Ash Dagwood, what a mysterious name you think. Maybe he's a-* for the third time today your thoughts are interrupted " Do you always stare?" He asks sarcastically, "Only when I feel like it really" you reply, rolling your eyes a little. "This should be fun" Ash mutters, you sigh and sit back in your chair preying for this hour of hell to hurry up and pass.
As the bell rings you start to pack up your things, all lesson has been hard. Ash seemed to be staring at you the whole time, his jade
(😉 Dw about that just a joke to someone)
coloured eyes burning wholes into your sole. "Do you mind?" You snap, "All lesson you've been staring at me, almost like you're staring into my sole and quite frankly I don't like it" You say, it's like your brain isn't even trying to stop you at this point. "What are you hiding?" He asks patiently, "W....What?" You ask quietly, your brain quickly catches up to what's happening and you manage to stutter out " N.....Nothing" *Not again* you say to yourself. "I'll find out....." He says quietly, before getting up and walking out.You look down at your timetable once more and smile, English. *Finally something I'm good at!* You say to yourself. You hastily walk out and look around, *Left then a right* You remember, *It's a good thing that my memory is good* you laugh, one thing you've prided yourself on is your memory. *It's the only good thing about me really* You sigh * With shortish brown hair and blue eyes I feel like I'm plain. I'm not pretty, skinny, talented or loved. Good memory is the only thing I got anymore.*
You walk into class a little late, this makes you feel awkward as everyone stares at you. "I'm guessing you're the new student?" Asks the teacher, she's a little old which causes her to have wrinkles around her eyes and grey hair around her ears, you notice she wears a black dress matched with a red flower and red shoes, she looks like she'd just been to a funeral. "Yeah.....I'm Natalia" You reply, "Good, go sit next to Lauren" she snaps back quickly "And hurry up, you're late" she adds. You glance across the room and guess that the short blonde girl with the empty seat next to her is Lauren. You slide into your chair and quietly get out your things as the teacher rambles on. "Hey, I'm Lauren. But of corse you already knew that! Silly me! Anyways I'm your buddy for this week, which means we're going to be BEST friends!" She energetically laughs. "W....wait...... Buddy?" You question "Yeah! Did no one tell you? You get a buddy for your first week of school so you're not lonely!" She giggles she seems friendly enough, but you can't let that fool you again. Not after last time.....
Lauren talks all lesson about her and her friends, about the school and who you should look out for and who you should talk to. By the end of the lesson you feel like you know everyone in your year personally, she said that she'd introduce you to her friends at break...Which happened to be next, they all sound very nice. But you've learned your lesson not to make friends, you never know when they can turn around and stab you in the back...
