When I got done unpacking I was already, ready to go to sleep but I was hungry so I waited so I waited for dinner. The doorbell rang I already knew who it was. It was Jay because he had already texted me telling that he was here.

As went down stairs I thought about what was happening with Cody. He seemed like he wasn't expecting me to be dating anyone.

" Avery, a boy is here for you " I'm pretty sure,  Kyle said that but Im not sure.

When I got to the door all the boys were standing there.

" Um aren't you guys going to let him in?"  I asked confused

" Um no?" Kyle said in a girl voice.  I rolled my eyes.

" Why not? " I made sure not curse in front of Cole and Dane.

" Because we don't know who he is, so when you introduce us he can come in." Jake said like it was totally obvious.

I sighed,"Guys this is Jaylynn, my boyfriend " as I said this Jay smiled and hugged me, "Jay these are my step brother's: Kyle,Cody, Jake,Zach,Eli, Dane, and Cole. Happy? " I asked the guys,  they just nodded and moved out the way.

Hand in hand me and Jay walked to the dining room where the table was already set up. I really liked the house and the people in it well so far. I loved the fact that my boyfriend was here and we would be going to the same school. But I do kinda miss my mom. Now when she comes home drunk out of her mind,she has no one to take off here shoes and put her to bed.

" Dinner is ready!! " Sophia hollered

" It smells real good ",  dad my said happily as he kissed her on the cheek. God they were perfect for eachother.

" And who have we here? " my father said look at Jay.

" Oh dad, this is my boyfriend Jay,  the one I've been  telling you about "

My dad's eyes widen in realization, " Oh I've heard so many good things about you, so don't you ever break my daughter's heart"

" I won't, it's a pleasure to finally meet all of you guys" Jay said shaking my dad's hand.

We all sat down and began eating. The food was amazing but the awkward silence wasn't. Well that was until....

" So Avery,  How do you like your room?" Sophia asked eager to find out .

" It's beautiful,  thank you" I said with a big smile. Then it just went back to a awkward silence.  I wonder if it was like this all the time or if it was because Jay and I were here.  I hope we wernt the reason.

After dinner me and Jay went you to my room. Not to have sex or anything even though it would be really easy since we each had our own floors.  Well except for Jake and Zach they shared floors by choice. "Look ,I should go to my house and get ready then come back here" Jay said

I heard the door close meaning he was out.

Now what should I wear......

"Cody, what kind of party is it?!" I yelled

"Casual" he yelled back

OK thats good.... I should go take a shower.
