Chapter Nine: Nice doggy...!

(*Kevin's pov*)

A young pup sat infront of the redhead, wagging his tail as he watched the nervous redhead. kevin calmed down once he saw the dog was... happy to see him...? Kevin noticed that the pup was covered head to toe with mud, looking around he saw that the house was a big mess. "Oh gezz" kevin said standing up, walking into the living room with the pup following close behind him. It was a huge mess, many objects knocked over, and mud tracks that were everywhere. He followed the mud tracks that lead into the kichcan where the back door was open and the trash can that was files with deer bottles was knocked over. "Well that explaines how you got in" he looked over at mub covered pup that was chasing his tail. Kevin sighed as he shut and locked the door. " what should I do with you cutie?" he kneet down to see if the pup at a collar on him. Of course the pup didn't have one. Kevin thought for a moment about two things. One: What to do with the muddy pup. Two: How the hell was he gonna clean everything up by himself. Then an idea came to mind as he stood up, smiling and took his phone out of his pocket, calling both his friends. "Hey! I need a big favor from both of you please!" Kevin said looking at the mess in the living room.
"What is it kevin? I'm busy with my homework plus it's late" Nazz said. "I need help with something and I can't do it alone and-"
"Kevin why you calling so late" Nat cut Kevin off before he could finishes speaking.
" and I have a surprise" Kevin finished before he heard a loud gasp.
" a surprise! Really!? I'll be over in a few!" Nat hung up "Nazz? Will yo-"
"I'll be over" Nazz hung up. The redhead smiled and Sat on the dirty couch while he waited for his friends.

Kevin stood in front of his friends. "I need help with this" he moved out of the and there was the muddy pup happily sitting behind where Kevin once stood. "Aww it's so cute" Nat and Nazz said at the same time. "Wait why Do you need our help? Its just a puppy" Nazz said petting the pups head softly "it's not him I need help with it's the mess." Kevin pointed to the living and then point at the small pup. "he did this." Nazz gasped while Nate laughed slightly "Aw man this is so bad that its funny" Nate said, looking at the pup. Kevin punched Nat's arm
"can you guys please help me with the mess and help me get some things for her?"
" yeah we will help you, I will start on the living room and Nat will give.." Nazz picked up the pup and checked what gender the pup is. (awkward....lol)
"Nat will give her a bath and since you have your bike you can run to the store and get somethings if your keeping her." Kevin nodded, grabbing a backpack and ran outside to the back where his bike was hidden. "he never hides it well enough" he laughed to himself getting on his bike and starting it. The store was not to far away from his house and there wasn't very many stoplights on the way so kevin got there very quickly."Hmm what do I all need..." Kevin walked around the store to find everything he need. Kevin walked out of the store with a food and water dish, a small bag of dog food, a leash, a couple toys, and a white color with blue and green poke dots, Kevin also got a small dog tag with the name Geogie on it. He really liked the name Geogie. Kevin put everything in the backpack which he took from Nat and got on his bike, he pulled out of the packing lot and began riding home. He had stopped at a stop light and a black car pulled up next to him, also waiting for the light to turn green. Kevin looked over at the car "wait....that car look familiar " he looked more closely at the car. He looked at the car with wide eyes....it was Eddward's car. Eddward lite a cigarette and rolled down his window. Kevin looked away and pretended he wasn't looking while fixing the straps of his backup soit wouldn't slip down while he was ridding. Edd blow out  smoke and looked to the person that was next to him then turning back to look forward, he looked a second time and smirked "Greetings Kevin"  Edd said while taking another drag from his cigarette . "H-hey Eddward, where you g-going?" Kevin blushed at his studdering  "no where really, just driving around" Eddward said looking at the bruises on Kevin's face, frowning at them. " Maybe you should join me some time" Edd though his cigarette out the window, smirking at the redhead's face turning red. "No" Kevin looked at Eddward " come on it will be fun" he winked at the blushing redhead. "No is no" Kevin looked at the up at the lights, the light was still red. An idea suddenly came into Edward's mind. "You heading home?" Kevin nodded "Then how about a little race? I win, you come on a drive with me. You win, and Ill give you some money, deal?" Kevin thought of a moment and smiled at the deal Edd wanted to make. Kevin really like racing and he really did need the money. The redhead took off his hat and throwen it though the window of Edd's car, thr hat now sitting in Eddward's lap."Deal" the light turned green and Kevin sped forward making his tires screech. Eddward eyes went wide for a second then he smirked and sped forward also making his tires screech. Kevin was smiling as he past many cars that honked at him as he passed them. Eddward's car finally pulled up next to him " What took you so long!" Kevin yelled looking over at the black car next to him. Edd had both hands on the wheel and was smiling, not his usual smirk that gave Kevin the chills, but a real smile. " Oh I was just warming up!" he yelled back as he picked up more speed, making him ahead of Kevin. Kevin laughed, also picking up more speed tying to get ahead of the Eddward's car. Kevin got ahead of Edd's car and took a sharp turn to the left and past a red light. Edd yanked his wheel left making his car successfully turn the corner at the speed he was going and pasted the red light before any cars could cross. He looked down to the see that he was had gone way over the speed limit. " 94 miles?, come on I know I can go faster" Eddward mumbled to himself as he speed up to be even with Kevin. They both looked over at each other, Edd blushes slightly, seeing the biggest smile he had ever seen on the redhead's face. Kevin was laughing at how much fun he was having and smiled even more when he heard Edd also laughing. They both stopped laughing and looked each other then back at the road as they both turned the last corner to there're street. "almost there!" Kevin thought as he was ahead but sadly Eddward pulled ahead of him at the last second. They both came to a stop in there own drive ways, Eddward got out of his car and walked over to the redhead. " fucking hell! so damn close!" Kevin yelled as he got off his bike. "language pumpkin" Edd walked up to the redhead who was still smiling, putting Kevin's red cap back on his head." I guess you win then" Kevin said looking up at the taller male. Eddward pulled out something out of this pocket, shoving it into Kevin's hand before walked back to his house without a word. Kevin didn't look at what it was and just put it in his pocket. He walked into his house and watched as Nat chased a soapy pup around the house trying to get the pup back in the tub. " come back here!" Nazz was also chasing the pup trying to grab her. " um guys I'm back" Kevin said trying not to laugh at his friends that are wet and had bubbles all over them. The small pup ran over the Kevin and sat in front of him wagging her tail happily. Nat picked the pup up and took her back up to the bathroom. " ugh I'm all wet now" Nazz said walking over to Kevin. " I'm going to head home now, the kitchen and living room are clean" Nazz said, putting her shoes on. "thanks Nazz" he hugged her tightly. Right as Nazz walked out of the house Nat opened the bathroom door and a brown and white pup came running out. "i swear that dog is nuts!" Nat point at the pup that was running around the house. " I need to head home Kev, Ill see you later" Nat put his shoes on and placed a hand on Kevin's shoulder. Nat smiled " oh and I saw you and Eddward outside together, tell me the details tomorrow"  Nat winked at the blushing redhead. Kevin locked the door once Nat walked out. Kevin sighed walking up his room with the pup following. The small redhead closed and locked his door as the pup jumped on his bed and rolled around. The Kevin walked to his bathroom and grabbed the small box under his sink. He felt sadness wash over him when he looked up his reflection in the mirror. His face was bruised and cut up, he took of his shirt, Kevin looked at all the bruises that was from his father and the jocks at school. Kevin opened the box, the box was full of razors that had dried blood all over them. He picked up one of the razors and dragged it across his scarred arm, feeling the cold metal dig in to his skin. " I deserve this..." Kevin did this for a while till his arm was covered in cuts, he washed and  bandaged up his arm, feeling very weak. He looked one last time in the mirror before walking out of his bathroom and over to his bed. He didn't feel like putting a shirt on or changing out of his clothes. He looked out of the window and looked across the street to see Eddward sitting on the steps to his house. Then he remember that Eddward gave him something, he pulled it out of his pocket and look at it with wide eyes. It was money, at least 250 dollars and a piece of paper. Kevin blushed and smiled as he read the paper."Here's a thanks for making me laugh today pumpkin"  Kevin read what was written on the note with Eddward's number also written at the bottom . Kevin looked out the window at Eddward as he sent him a text.

After Kevin sent it he looked back over to Eddward to see him pull out his phone. Then Eddward looked up at Kevin's window and made eye contact, Edd smiled at him as Kevin blushed. Edd looked down at his phone for a second and walked back inside his house.

Kevin smiling, layed on his bed with his new friend and fell asleep smiling
