Prologue || Jade's P.O.V
"But Jade you have to come!" Perrie whines, kneeling beside my bed with a pout.
"I'm not going and that's final." I say, my tone serious. Perrie doesn't take the hint and continues to beg.
"I know you guys have.. bad history, but you don't have to cheer for him. I just want you to come with me as company." She explains, hoping to convince me.
"You have Zayn for company, Pez." I respond, reaching for my phone.
"I just want you there," she pauses and looks up at me from where she's kneeling on the ground, "please?" she begs, almost convincing me.
"It won't be long, will it? I want to avoid talking to him completely."
"So you're coming?" Perrie questions with excitement, her face lighting up. I nod my head, getting off the bed and making my way to my wardrobe to choose a casual outfit.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She exclaims, running to me and pulling me into a bone-crushing hug.
"I'm not going there to cheer on Liam, I'm there for his opponent, whoever the hell he is." I remind her, trying to avoid giving her the impression that I no longer hate his guts.
"Oh, you'll be surprised.." She mumbles before walking off. Ignoring her quiet comment, I pick out a pair of high-waisted tartan shorts and white polo t-shirt to wear. Today's gonna suck.
