Enochlophobia
Fear of crowdsHarry is afraid of large crowds
The idea of hundreds upon hundreds of people all on one space made it very undesirable for even a thought.
December 29th, the blonde was loaded on a plane next to his best friend for the next few good hours without even a chance to argue against it.
"New York, midnight."
"Vik, are you crazy?"
Harry felt as if his eyes were about to fall out of his head as he maneuvered to face the mocha-skinned boy in the uncomfortable plane seat beside him.
"You know you don't really have to ask to know the answer."
With an exasperated huff, Harry turned to meet face to face with the tiny window to his left, reminding himself that there wasn't anything he could do now.
December 31st
11:58pm"Well, I only came for the ball drop."
"Then why'd you force me here?" Harry gasped in speechless annoyance.
"Guess."
People began to surround and suffocate the two as they squeezed through crowds upon crowds on onlookers filling Times Square.
"V-Vik? I don't like it." The blonde communicated nervously, gripping the smaller's hand even tighter as he continued to barrel through the boards of people.
As he had completely blocked out those around him counting down out loud in an excited manner, Harry was startled when the number one was echoing through his head. Watching the fire works light up the darkness around the skyscrapers, everything else suddenly disappeared. No longer where their claustrophobic auras bouncing off his tight space, but only one person in his field of view.
Before he could even react, Vik's lips were on his own.
"Happy New Years."
And suddenly, Harry wasn't afraid of large crowds.
