As soon as I stepped into the SUV I broke down. I cried until my eyes were dry and there felt like I couldn't cry anymore. I opened the first gift from my friends and saw it was a picture of all of us at a party. That was such a good day. I had gotten drunk and did some crazy things but it was amazing.
The second thing was a necklace that had a silver heart with all my friends birthstones payed into the silver. I smiled grimly and put the necklace on immediately. I held the charm while watching the outside pass by as the car moved. I was exhausted of all that had a happen in the past hours so I decided to take a nap.
Two hours later I woke up and found myself watching us pull up to gated area. The driver entered a password and the gate opened. I was leaned up in my seat and was watching in awe of my surroundings. About 5 minutes we were circling into a round driveway that was in front of a gorgeous mansion.
It looked very clean but yet it had an older essence to it. The SUV stopped and soon my door was opened. The driver helped me out of the car and put my bags besides me. I was taking in the house, I looked back to ask the man a question but he was gone along with the car.
"Well shit! Where am I supposed to go?" I mutter to myself irritated. He could've at least told me he was leaving! But oh no he just left with out even making a dam noise. I grab my belongings and make my way to the grand door. Sooner or later as I'm standing underneath the awning knocking on the door it starts pouring rain.
"This is the best day ever! What a great fucking start to a new life!" I yell out as I sit down. It's about ten minutes later and a jet black Mercedes pulled in the drive way to park. I'm watching the car looking to see who comes out and see a very handsome man steeping out of the expensive car.
He's on the phone and doesn't notice me yet. He's almost to the door when he looks down and sees me. His brows furrow in confusion then he mumbles something into the phone. The man puts his phone away and then raises his sunglasses up on his head. His eyes are an mossy green color and his hair a mess of blonde hair. You can see his muscles through his suit.
I get up slowly, trying not to look like a clumsy person and fall back on my ass. I dust off my legs and say,"hey,um my names Jordan...." I smile and wave awkwardly. I mentally scold myself for being awkward around a hot guy. He looks as if he's in deep thought and then his eyebrows raise and he smiles."ohhhhh I see your the girl that is coming to live with us?"
His voice is husky and walks over to me to shake his hand."um what's your name?" I ask lowly. "Oh my bad! The names Christian! My brother is drew! You'll meet him tomorrow but I'm not sure." I smile and say,"oh okay, nice to meet you Christian and can we go in please? I'm starting to get cold" Christian then asks me,"how long have you been out here?"
I sense worry laced in his voice."thirty minutes at the max, but I'm good just starting to get cold." I laugh slightly and follow him inside. I finally take my eyes away from his tall frame and take in the huge foryer. My mouth was slightly open as I looked at the grand stair cases. Christians voice brought me back out of my thoughts,"hey, I'll show you to your room if you want?" He smiles slightly while taking off his navy suit jacket.
"Yeah, that would be great thank you!" We walk up the stairs making some small talk and then walking through a long hallway. A few minutes later we are in front of a wooden door. He twist the door knob and my eyes widen at my room. They're are huge windows in front of my bed with chairs by them. My bed is a beautiful gray wooden four poster queen bed. I have a fire place with a flat screen tv placed above it. Then they're is a balcony with little seats and a table. If you turn after my fireplace there is my desk and book shelfs. There was two other doors which was my huge closet and huge bathroom.
"I hope you like your room, you can go shopping or we can get are stylist to get an idea of who you are and get her to fill your closet up?" Christian asks with his hands in his pockets, leaning against my door frame."um I don't care, it's whatever is easier for you all." I speak softly. "Jordan don't act like you don't deserve to be here and don't belong. This is your home now, you are our family now! We will take care of you, but Emma will be over tomorrow to get an idea of you." I blush at his words and say,"okay, thank you so much for having me in your home. Also sorry for acting awkward before...its just I didn't know you and I'm having a shitty day."
He lets out a hearty laugh and puts his arm behind his neck and says,"well I'm sorry you had to wait in the rain, also sorry that Marty left you." He shakes his head in disappointment and then says"I have some work to do but I'll let you get settled to I'll see you tomorrow and if you need anything my office is down stairs next to the living room."
I smile and say,"thanks again and will do!" He leaves and shuts the door behind him.
It was getting dark outside so I decided to change into some clothes I brought along with me and get into bed. To which I fell asleep very quickly. I went to sleep with thoughts of all the crazy things happening.
