Somehow I felt relieved, as if I could be myself. He knew the only thing that I would never tell a soul.
"You look beautiful by the way," he said as we walked to a restaurant for lunch.
The morning was spent by reading and signing the contracts. In the process I learned a few things about Logan, such as his favorite color is red and he hates zucchini.
He made me laugh a couple times, but then I'd remember that I was supposed to be mad at him.
"Thank you, this clothes is kind of itchy."
He chuckled, "Try wearing this everyday."
Suddenly there was paparazzi surrounding us as we tried to get through. He wrapped his arm around me which made me tense.
"Remember what I told you."
To avoid the whole situation we ended up walking into the first restaurant we passed by.
"I love Chinese food," I stated.
"I've never tried this place, but there's a first time for everything right?" He replied.
A waitress took us to an open table and took our orders.
"Tell me about you."
"What do you wish to know Logan?"
"Anything and everything."
"Then let's start with the basics, shall we? I was born in California, I'm 21 years old, and I have a dog named Max."
"How did you get into modeling?"
"My adoptive mom actually has her own fashion line, and I started there. She had contacts and here I am. Enough about me, what about you?"
"Well there isn't much to say, troubled rich kid who took on the burden of the family business."
He didn't look me in the eye, instead he took a sip from some of his water. I couldn't help but sigh, I was trying and he wasn't making it easy.
"I understand if you don't want to tell me."
"It's not that, I will in the future, just not now."
The waitress came back with our drinks, he ordered coffee and I had green tea.
"So do you want kids?"
His sudden question made me choke on my drink.
"Careful, it's hot." He said in all seriousness.
"Why do you ask?"
"Just curious."
"Well I really never thought about it, my career is kind of my body, it's how I make a living." I answered.
"I would make sure your pretty hands wouldn't have to work another day of your life."
My eyes widened, was he referring to marriage?
"That's very thoughtful but I like what I do. Does that mean you want children?"
"I'm not sure, maybe a dog, for now."
I couldn't help but chuckle, he was so blunt and smug about it too.
"You just put everything out there don't you?"
"Well why try to sugarcoat things that can be said plainly. I usually know what I want and when I'm sure of it, I do everything in my power to get it."
"Like blackmail?"
It was his turn to glare at me.
"If it's necessary, but usually it's on good terms."
