*Pitter-patter*

Of course, it was raining on the night I had decided to take a stroll. It was nothing special, just a simple stroll. Although, my little apartment had gotten stuffy. So, why not take a walk? Well, that's what I'm doing... in the rain. Oh, yeah, my name is Masahiro Satoru, meaning "the enlightened one of justice". I know, silly name for someone who's walking in the rain at right now. Well, I'm not prosperous, otherwise I would be called "Kazuhiro". Well, Snoop, if you keep reading on about my life, you'll find out why I'm called that.

Anyways, I'm walking around... then suddenly I heard a girl yelling. It was my call. It was how I was summoned. I sped up my pace and listened closely for the origin of her voice....

"Hey! Let go of me!", She sounded young... too young.

They were just around the corner, "What? No, no, stay and play with me..." It was a devious tone he used with the little girl.

I rounded the corner and saw a girl around the age of eight half undressed! That scum! I will teach him and he will never hurt another soul ever again...

"Get your filthy hands off of her."

He looked over at me and cocked his head to the side, "And who invited you to our tea party?"

I chuckled. I felt the fear radiating off the guy, "Heh. Heh, heh. Ha, ha, HA! You make me laugh, Scum! Too bad, you could've been a comedian... well, now you can in the Underworld!", My blackened wings bursted out. A shadow slinked down my arm and solidified into a scythe. I dashed towards Scum, swung... ,and missed. He swerved out of the way and took out a small switchblade. It was his turn now, slashed at me and hit me once in the chest. Yes, it stung. I knew that for sure, but, I wasn't defeated yet, "Here, Scum. Here is your lesson: When you meet a young lady, you smile at her. If she approaches you, say hi and be a good gentleman. Always. Now, I shall set you free of your sins...", I swung once more and did not miss. He turned into a puff of smoke and sank into the ground. I had sent him to the Underworld. Yeah, I wasn't kidding. Speaking of kidding...

I turned to the girl. She was fully dressed now and when I met her gaze, she shrunk back. I looked at my scythe and de-summoned it, "Hey... sh, sh, shh... It's okay...", I went to pick her up, but, she slapped my hand away. I crouched down and rose a wing above her so she didn't get rained on any more than she already had, "Do you have a home? It's okay, you're safe now. Nobody'll hurt you. Are you cold?"

She shook her head no, then nodded it yes. So, she had no home... I put my arms out again so I could comfort her, this time, slowly, she came up to me. I picked her up, she began to cry into my shoulder. I lifted my wings then thrust them down and took to the sky.
