I watched threw the back of the limo at Danielle's disappearing house.
I watchd as the lights turned off, and we turned the corner.
I'm a terrible friend.
It's times like these, that i wih i could talk to my family. But danielle was my ony family. My original family abandoned me as soon as i turne eihteen. They said i was a disgrace, and that they never wanted to see me again. Even my little brother, who i, basically, parented him.
I tried to call Dani, tell her that i was sorry, but she didnt answer. She sent me to voicemail.
I know i desserve it.
When i got to a large house, the limo stopped. The driver, Ricardo Deatyr, helped me out. 'Thank You, Ricardo," i said, and plated a fake smile on my face,
"Always a pleasure, Haven." he replied.
i nodded, then walked into the house.
"haven. Drling, Please, sit down, immidiantly." Roxanne said, then pushed me into a chair. I glared at her, then at Mr. Caroche.
"I hope i didnt pull you guys out of anything special." he said.
It was then that noticed the entire cast was here. I rolled my eyes. "oh, dont worry," i said, "you did." Everyone looked at me. i glanced at e, then my friend Cheyanne. Her glossy blond hair and blue eyes stared at me in horror and worry.
'Are you ok?' she motuthed.
Mr. Corache looked at me, then closed his eyes. "Any-who, we must speak of the transportation to Brooklyn. Anybody need a ride?"
Then entire cast except me raised there hands. They all mumbled somthing about how they thought it would be covered. I rolled my eyes, obviously annoyed.
When Mr. Corache opened his eyes, he flinched. "Well, i, uh, i have two plane tickets." he said.
Dean immidiantly got up. "I need one, come on, i'm the main charactor!"
mr. Corache shrugged, then gave him one. "One ticket left." he said.
Everyne except Cheyanne tried to nigociate with him. Chey was on her pphone.
"Chey, what are you doing?" i asked her.Sheshrugged. 'I'm counting my money and seeing if i ld aford a ticket--"
"Cheyanne Tear. would you like the ticket?"
The romm grew quiet, and Cheyanne looked up from her phone. Obviusly, she was surprised. She nodded furiously, then reached over for them. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mr. Corache, thank you!" she kept repeted, then stared at the tickets.
i smiled.
Then, i thought of Dani.
And a frown formed on my face.
Poor Dani, all alone, probably hating me.
A knot formed in my stomache and i felt as if i would cry.
'Is that all?" i asked.
Mr. Corache shrugged. "I suppose."
I immidiantly ran out of the room.
When i got to danielle's house, i used the key she'd given me whn i frst bought her the house. When i got inside, i turned on the light and looked around.
Everything was exactly the way it was when i'd left.
Pizza box open, our plates scattred on the table.
I looked around for Dani, then decide she must have gone to sleep, thinking that i wasnt actually going to come. I would have been pissed for her lack of trust in me, but i soon realized, that's what i'veen doing that a lot lately.
I opened the door to her room and saw her laying there, pretending to sleep. I could tell she was pretending to sleep, because she doesnt snore when she pretend-sleeps. On her dresser was a sticky note.
The birght orange note caught my eye, and i wripped it off the wood. On it said, in black sharpie, "Please go. I dont want to see you anymore."
Tears illed my eyes, and the i'm sorry plant i'd gotton on my way over here fell to the ground, splattering gass and water and flowers all over the ground. Glass caught in between my toes, but i didnt care.
I whirled around, my makeup drawing thick black lines down my face. "Fine, you bitch!" i shouted, but i kept breathing in mascara-tears.
I ran out of her room, out of her, and all the way home. Screw Ricardo. I needed the excerize.
I needed Danielle.
