Note as of 11/11/2013: This is some very old, amateur writing from at least two, maybe three, years ago.

Note as of 13/01/2017: I've returned to this collection in an attempt to rework it into something of a far more professional standard, and not just the edgy scribbles from my 2010 notebook.

This collection was first coined in early 2011, while I was still in High School, and the chapters were amateur at best. Most poems were about death, suicide, self-harm, mental illness and various other themes that I was dealing with and coming to terms with in my own life. They were neither good nor interesting, but were probably my best way of coping back then. The stories were sloppy, predictable, cliché- probably any negative you can possibly consider.

Coincidentally, it is #Manuary as I write this, a month for focusing on mens' rights and issues and how they aren't taken seriously, something I have definitely experienced firsthand.

I'd like to dedicate this note to those going through any of these things, and encourage you to reach out in any way that you are able, reach out to those you think may be struggling, and always live a life you can feel proud of, whether you were to die tomorrow or live another century. You impact many, many other lives daily, you will always matter.
