We followed the horse man to a large clearing that was filled with lots of people moving around. As my gaze fell on different people the whispers would rise and fall. Bad things were going to happen.

They were all in heavy looking armour made of metal. There were more of those satyr people with wooden weapons around the place and some of the ladies had green skin. Annabeth walked off to a tent and Grover left to talk to one of the ladies leaving us to stand with the horse man.

Nico grabbed my hand and I followed him back the way we came. It wasn't actually too far. We came to a big blue house. He brought me inside and we sat down on the couch.

"Harley, I need you to stay in here for a while. I'll be back after I help these guys out. Okay?"

I nodded. I had realised that he was worried about what would happen. I paused for a second before saying;

"Don't be too long." I threw in a hug just to be sure.

Nico hugged me back, "I'll be back soon."

He walked back out of the room and I ran over to the window to see what was going on.

After a minute or two I hear the rumble of people and yelling so loud that I could hear it from here. It was a loud roar with no words. Like when Uncle Vernon was really mad; but much much louder.

The whispers raced across the edge of my mind and I could almost feel the people dieing. This was a war and I Nico was caught right in the middle.

I saw smoke rising from the trees. Was there a fire? I hope not.

Suddenly the whispers were screaming at me again. They quickly died down, but one little whisper caught my attention.

Nico Di Angelo... I didn't stop to wonder why the whisper made sense. I ran out the door and into the forest.

I stopped running when the sounds of the battle were just ahead of me. Sticking to the trees I peered around to see the fight going on.

I was scared.

Fire danced through trees twenty feet to my left. Many people were lying on the the ground unmoving and just as many were pulling themselves off to the side, trying to avoid the ones still fighting.

The sharp clang of swords filled my ears and the roars of the various creatures made me shudder. The whispers accompanied all of this.

I had to find Nico.

I scanned the ground to see if I could find him.

He wasn't in this area. I edged my way around the clearing, away from the fighting. Ahead of me a saw a wave of water approaching quickly so I ran behind a tree and held on. The water washed past me easily and doused the flames that had been spreading.

I moved on.

I stopped again to scan the area. A stray arrow flew past, about a foot ahead of me. I peered around the tree that I had hid behind. I saw the archer that had fired it fall to one of the campers.

I heard a screech. It sent a shiver down my spine. I looked around before seeing a shpe hurdle up and out from the pile of rocks in the centre of the clearing. It landed on the top of the rocks, wings spread. It was a she and looked very odd. Evil lady had bat wings, a odd animal heads around her waist. She pulled out two curved blades that glinted green in the light. Snakes curled around her legs and her second screech sent some campers running. I saw the big man that had come through the maze with us yelling to stand and fight. He tumbles away, a large black dog having tackled into him.
