Chapter 1: She Witnessed The affair

Melissa's POV.

*school bell rings

"Ok class that's all for today. Class dismissed." Wika ng English teacher namin.

I was putting my things on my bag when somebody approached me.

"Mel saan tayo kakain ng lunch?" Tanong ng best friend ko na si Janeillyn County.

"I don't know, you choose. I'm gonna ask Bryan if he's having lunch with us." I told her while carrying my bag. She rolled her eyes, typical Jane.

"Hindi ba pwedeng tayong dalawa lang muna mag lunch? You always spend more time with Bryan eversince he became your boyfriend." Sabi niya habang naka taas ang isang kilay.

"Jane, I'm sorry ok. I'll make it up to you." I said while smiling. Lumiwanag ang mukha niya.

"For real?" Tanong niya. I nodded my head as a response.

"Let's go Jane?" I asked "Ok!" Then we stormed out of our classroom.

We're on our way to my boyfriend's classroom when somebody approached us, or should I say approached Jane.

"Um, hi Jane! I j-just wanted t-to give you t-this." The nerdy boy said stuttering while handing Jane a bouquet of flowers. Wait a second, I think this boy is cute. Oh my god he's blushing!

"Why thank you. May I know your name?" Jane said while smiling.

The boy smiled shyly and answered "I'm Matthew Gibson."

"Oh I'm Janeillyn County. Thanks again for this Matthew, we really have to go now. Bye, see you around!" She said while smiling. Matthew bid goodbye to us.

We continued walking in silence.

"Ehem!" I faked a cough while eyeing her suspiciously. "What?" She asked innocently.

"Parang iba yata ang mood mo sa lalaking yun ah. Naka smile ka, eh usually naka taas ang kilay mo kapag may lalaking nagbibigay ng flowers or anything sayo." Sagot ko habang naka tingin parin sa kanya.

Inilapit niya ang bibig niya sa tainga ko seems she has to whisper something "I kinda think that boy is cute." She told me while giggling.

"Iba talaga ang taste mo pag dating sa boys Jane." I said and I chuckled. She roled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Duh, I just find him cute. What's wrong with that? Besides I'm not attracted to sporty ar badass boys, not like you." She answered and looked at the opposite direction.

"Woah defensive much? Hahaha! It's ok Jane, you're right his kinda cute." Sabi ko sa kanya.

"Really?" She asked while looking at me. I just nodded my head as an answer.

Nakarating kami sa tapat ng classroom ng boyfriend ko which is si Bryan James Reese. Jane and I started to scan the classroom, after a while I finally found him sitting at the corner. Naglakad ako palapit sa kanya.

"Bryan, sasabay ka ba sa akin kumain?" Tanong ko nang nakalapit na ako sa kanya. Napatingin siya sa akin at umiling. "No, someone already invited me for lunch. Sorry Mel." He said with a poker face. I noticed that this past few days he's being cold to me.

"Who is it?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"My friend from another school." He answered while putting his things in his bag.

"Oh ok, bye Bryan." Sabi ko sa kanya at naglakad na papunta sa pinto.

Nang makalapit na ako kay Jane agad siyang nagsalita. "So, what did he say?" She asked while one of her eyebrow is raised.
