Chapter 2: Adopting a Pet & The Skeleton Bros

(Y/N)'s POV
I sipped my coffee and watched TV, I switched channel to channel until i found something. Its a video from the pound, apperently it was giving some dogs so they can get more cats. I felt lonely here so i decided to go to the pound to get a dog.

I locked the windows the doors and everything that has a lock, then i headed to the pound but Chara went to me and said "Hi Miss (Y/N)! Where are you going?" Chara said "im heading to the pound to get myself a pet" i said "thats where im heading to!" Chara said "Why?" I asked "my friend was mistaken for a stray dog, thats because she doesnt like to wear collars" Chara said and laughed a bit.

When we got to the pound Chara ran right in there, i opened the door cuz she didnt bother to open it, then

n employee greeted Chara with a smile and said "Hello Chara, let me guess you friend is here again?" She asked. Chara blushed in emberassment and nodded "what about you Miss? What do you want?" She asked politely "Im here to adopt one" I said and she nodded "follow me" she said. She lead us to where all the pets were then she shouted "Temmie!!!" Chara shouted "Finally! Oh god Chara THIS DOGS WONT STOP LICKING ME!!" The Temmie said "what about you miss? What dog will you choose?" She said.

"That one" I said pointing at the dog in the corner "Are you sure about that? That dog hasnt ate nor drank since it got here" she said "Thats ok" i said. She sighed in defeat and gave the pup to me, it was a Tibetan Mastiff the most expensive dog breeds but in this pound im getting it for free.

The girls went to a different direction becuase i was still going to buy stuff for the dog. I enetered the shop where they sell the dog items and a girl greeted me with a warm smile "What can i get you?" She asked in a singing voice "I need some things for my dog" I said she nodded and gave me the stuff and handed me a book on 'How To Take Care Of A Tibetan Mastiff' "your dog is a Tibetan Mastiff right?" She asked i nodded "since your a begginer the shampoo, dog bowls, colar and the book is free" she said "So itll be 19$" she said, I gave her a 20$ bill and calculated the cash "Keep the change" i said and grabbed the plastic full of the stuff that I bought.

When i got home I unlocked the door and carried the pup to my couch and put the stuff near the couch I put dog food and water in the dog food "Not hungry huh?" I said "Me neither" I said and went to the couch. The dog took a nap, with its head in my lap.

A day later i woke up and went to find the pup i saw him spelling the name Leo "huh so thats your name, smart little pup arent ya" I said while petting the dog, it wagged his tail while i was petting him. I looked at the clock and it was 9:55 AM 'Huh didnt think i slept that long' I thought "Hey Leo im going to work ok? I wont be back until 4:00" I said it shoke his head as in a no "Well do you want to come with me then?" I asked and it nodded.

Me and Leo went to the Cafe and it was my turn to be the cashier. I went to the counter and waited for a costumer then someone covered my eyes "Kent stop covering my eyes" I said and Kent removed his hands "Aww i thought you wont guess" Kent said "Kent you do this every Tuesday" I said while fixing the pastries "well better get working now" he said.

What Kent didnt notice was Leo, Leo barked at him and Kent turned his head towards Leo "Huh whos this little guy?" Kent asked "Kent this is my dog Leo" I answered "Well hello little guy" Kent said while petting him, Leo barked at him "Well i better get working" Kent said.

I whispered finally and thankfully he didnt hear that. After 5 minutes the Cafe was filled with customers and good thing the Cafe is big. After 15 or so customers some monsters came by and those monsters are skeletons. "WHY ARE WE IN A CAFE?! I, THE MAGNIFICENT SANS WILL BE LATE FOR MY TRIANING WITH ALPHYS!!" the short skeleton said... Well shouted "Shut up m'lord im just here to get my food, abd if you dont want to be late why cant you just walk there by yourslef?" the taller skeleton said "BECAUSE I, THE MAGNIFICENT SANS DONT WANT TO BE STARED DOWN BY THOSE PUNY HUMANS!!!" Sans said "M'lord please do shut up were in public" The taller skelleton said "I, THE MAGNIFICENT SANS CAN DO WHAT EVER I WANT THANKS TO YOU, YOU WORTHLESS BROTHER PAPYRUS!!" Sans said "M'lord shut up im just here for my snacks" Papyrus said "FINE!!!!!" Sans said.

"What can i get you?" I asked "Ill take the Pink Amulet Bread" Papyrus said, I nodded and took a peice of the bread and put it in a brown paper bag "HUMAN!!!!! WHY IS THERE A DISGRACEFUL HUMAN BEHIND THIS COUNTER?!?!" Sans said "Uhh cuz i work here" i answered emotionless Sans glared at me and walked away with his brother.

Then all the monsters in the Cafe stared at me weirdly "What?" I asked them then Kent answered
"You just faced the skeleton brothers. The most mercyless monters in the underground Chara showed him that humans arent that bad but Sans still has his guard up and no human except for Chara has survived speakibg to him" Kent said "Oh" I said.
