Roses POV

I sat on my throne quietly as my father annouced the the activities that were to happen throughout the day.

As I continued to listen, I heard my fellow brother let out a soft yawn.

I smirked, I knew he would do that. He always does. I find it so amusing that he can barely stand to listen to his own father's important annoucements for the day.

My Father, Dirk Strider, looked over at Dave and growled, warning him to straighten up as soon as possible.

Dave frowned as his once hunched over position straighten up to a full-attention state.

I giggled slightly, what a day dreamer.

Dirk nodded in approval to Dave's change and turned back to the papers he was reading.

"Aw, yes." He continued, "We are having an garden feast with the royalty family from Adgan. Prepare the servants, Roxy. We shall need them to make it look top quality for our arrivals."

My mother nodded as she gracefully got up from her comfortable sitting area and began to walk down to the slave's headquarters.

As I watched she walk, my attention to my father's speech began to weaken by the second.

"Rose! Please pay attention." The mighty king called out, staring deep into my soul.

My eyes widen as I began to aknowledge his impatience, "Yes sir."

My pink orbs lingered back to look at my father, focusing on his clothing details.

"Thank you" he politely thanked, turning back to his papers once more.

"I believe that is all.", said my dad, scanning the papers for any type of information that hadn't been said.

"Alright. I shall be on my way, then." I simply stated, getting up from my throne and starting to walk into the direction my mother went.

As I walked through the dark hallway, I start to notice the dark atmosphere threatening to close in on me.

"Poor slave," I whispered to myself, "what a horrible hallway they must walk through everyday."

Luckily for me, I don't have to walk through this nasty hallway often, which I'm thankfully for.

I heard my mom cutting off her conversation with a slave once I got close enough to their rooms.

"So-"

"You heard me, servant. The garden needs to be prepared."

"Yes ma'am" the servant said in a shakily tone, bowing in reponse to her statement.

My mother smirked, knowing that she got her way. "Now, if you'll excuse me... I have some things to attend to..."

The servant said nothing as she skipped away, a bright smile starting to form upon her bright face.

To the whisky bar she goes....

I rolled my eyes, knowing her next move. She really needed to try and stop her addiction...

The slave sighed as they went back into the servant headquarters to tell the others.

A sudden spark of curiousity flooded into my mind, urging me to follow them to the garden.

I neeed to make sure the slave's are doing the work right anyways, it would only be responsible of me.

I smiled at my own clever thoughs, starting to slyly follow the present leaving servants.
