*Drip, drip, drip*
I awoke. Wipping away the droplets of water to realize it's raining. Lying on top of a garbage bag at the back of the shoplots, I look left and right, up and down, and finally to my hands and feet.
Who am I?
I had no memory of where I was and who I was. I gave myself a minute to think, but nothing seemed to pop up to my mind. It started getting cold, I got up and ran to the nearest shelter I could find. Luckily, it ended up to be a Mini Mart. I went in and asked for some tissues to dry myself up.
I checked myself for any clues that could bring my memory back. Coincidentally, I was in front of a mirror. To be frank, I didn't know what gender I was. But in this circumstances, I can say that I am a girl. Looks 18 enough to be a college student. I had long light brown hair with pastel highlights. Bangs that were touching my eyes. And had light brown eyes. I can say I was about 5'5 , not that tall. And had an average sized body. Not too thin, not too far. Juuuusssstttt right.
I asked the cashier to call the police officer for me. And in a few minutes they arrived.
They took me to the police station. And they asked me the few basic questions.
"What's your name?"
"I don't actually know sir."
"May I have your house address?"
"I am not sure as well sir."
"Then tell me something that you know."
"Well..."
I told him everything that I could remember.
"So you're saying, you have amnesia now?"
"It looks like it."
"Oh, please wait for a minute."
He walked away. He approach someone and started having a conversation with him. I'm guessing that he's the chief officer.
After a few minutes, they stopped talking. The chief officer started walking towards my direction. I quickly avoided eye contact and looked somewhere else. Because I thought he was looking for someone else.
*Tap, tap, tap.*
"Hey, kiddo."
I turned my head around and was shocked to see the chief officer in front of me.
"Yes?"
"My friend over there told me what happened. Sorry to say that we can't answer your questions now. We have to wait until abit of your memories comes back. Alright?"
"Okay, then I'll get going."
"Do you even have a place to go to?"
I halt, remembering that I have no memory of myself and no memory of where I lived.
"Honestly, no."
"Why not you stay with me for awhile. Until you get some of your memories back."
"Yes, I think that would be a good idea. Thanks ermmm.... Sorry, can I ask for your name?"
