this poem Is basically a request . a request to god . every man wants to be born perfect . every man wishes for great qualities . in this poem a man is standing at the gates of heaven and asking god to give him those qualities in his next birth, that can make him a better person in life....
MAKE ME IN SUCH A WAY
Today I stand here ,
With no fear
Near the gates of my destination ,
Where there will be my new creation,
Somebody will mold me ,
Into a perfect human being,
If needed I will break my back ,
For building the courage I lack ,
Honesty is needed too ,
For me to coo ,
Like the birds in the sky
And the green meadows which pass by ,
To be independent ,
But be careful and gentle ,
I need a positive attitude towards life ,
To take care of my brother , children , and wife ,
Excellence is an outcome ,
And one step forward here I come ,
teach me brotherhood,
So in future with someone my food
I need humanity ,
So that i can be one of them from the city
Give me strength so that i can stop terrorism,
And thus , clear will be my vision
And above all give me knowledge ,
So in future i never remain on the edge.
God to you , I thankfully say ,
if you give me all this, i will be unable to repay.
