the sailor
into the sea the sailor went,
oars into the water bent
the sky was crimson red
whose light touches the river bed
sailing oh! o! alone
with angels, fairies and gnomes
they said
' sea is where you banish fear,
king and pharoh you shall be here
here you may have composure
and a grandiose look of nature'
his boat reached in the middle of the ocean
moving slowly in a soft motion
suddenly the boat was shattered by a blast
and the sailor screamed " cut off the mast"
then he shuddered in silence
and for a moment held his breath
while the sea was still roaring
and to the angels he talked of death
and there away far
he saw a sinking spar
behind which something burned bright,
in the forests of night
the light symbolized heaven
where he thanked god for those blissful years of: 47
the sky was again crimson red
whose shine once more touched the river bed
the sailor finally found his destination, (the heaven)
and prayed to god for mankind’s robust constitution.
