Lies are lies
Just as you and I
We all lie
Nobody is perfect
Just like how nobody cares
About what I do
About how hard I try
I just can't get the words
To form
So I lie
I lie just like everyone else
But right now I'm lying
To myself
About how I feel
I just can't say
Cuz I trust nobody
And because of that
I've locked my feelings away
I have the lock
Cold as stone
Hidden away
You need to find the key
So I can tell you someday
But as for right now
Do whatever you please
For I've grown used to
Being under lock and key
I'm drowning in the
Sea of lies
And I think it's time to say goodbye
I'll ask you
Some other day
For you might not like what I say
So for now
I say goodbye
And I'll just keep
