a week later...

Tori's p.o.v.

It's been about a week since the first date Justin took me on. well my first date in general. anyway, the night got more amazing. after we got back to the table Justin and i walked back to his car and went back to his place. i will admit, he is definitely a sweet talker.

once we got to his house, we each enjoyed a glass of wine and talk some more. i love the fact that there is never a dull moment with Justin. we could keep a conversation about the same subject for two hours.

it got to be too late for me to drive back home so i stayed over. i was about to walk into the guest room when Justin grabbed my hips and pulled me into his room. he threw me on the bed and crawled on top of me. i couldn't control my laugh. we stayed like that for awhile then decided to watch a movie until we fell asleep.

i woke up this morning and the first thing i did was grab my phone to call Justin. we had gotten a lot closer since our date. i was about to dial his number when a different one appeared on my phone. i didn't recognize it at first but as i was about to hit end i realized it was a number i used to know far to well. i just sat and stared at it until it went to voice mail.

i quickly got up and went to get ready.i walked out in this and walked over to the mirror.

i then went downstairs and to my surprise saw Justin waiting by the door. i instantly smiled and jumped on him.

"i thought maybe we could go to brunch, if that's okay with you?" Justin asked all cute like. "of course, lets go." i walked out the door with Justin behind me.

we got in the car and drove in silence. not an awkward one but a comfortable one. my phone started to buzz in my lap. i looked down and saw the familiar number. ignore. i sighed quietly and looked back out the window, singing softly to the music on the radio.

we pulled up to the restaurant and valeted the car. i almost forgot we were famous for a second, the paparazzi had come out of no where. i hid my face in Justin's shirt as he had his head down.

once we were inside, we sat in the back. far from any windows. as we browsed the menus my phone started to buzz again. is he kidding me?

"I'm sorry i has to take this, i'll be right back." i got up and went to the bathroom.

"yes?" i said answering the phone. "tori? its Chris, your dad?" "yes, and what do you want? I'm in the middle of something." i said with an attitude. if you cant tell, i... strongly dislike my father. i refuse to call him dad or father even because he certainly hasn't been one the past 17 years.

"I'm sorry tori. i just want to talk to you. i miss you and your mom. just when you have a chance please call back." and the line went dead. i just felt like crying. once again he nor i said good-bye. if he thinks he can come back into my life just expecting me to be waiting for him, hes wrong.

i cleaned up and walked back out to the table. "I'm so sorry, it was important. well actually no it wasn't, more like a waste of time." i muttered on. "OK, who was it and what happened? ex-boyfriend?" i stifled a laugh. "no not quite. my father, he wants to be back in my life after the 17 years he wasn't. i just wish i could hit him in the head and make him realize it going t take more than an 'I'm sorry' for me to want him back... I'm sorry I'm rambling." i looked down at my phone. "no,no. please continue. it sounds kind of interesting. i want you to know I'm here for you and you can talk to me whenever." i looked up and he had a sympathetic look on his face. i smiled "thank you, but i dint want to talk about it right now, i just want to eat."
