"Sasuke...? Wh-Where is she?" I couldn't even face him so I turned around to face him. "Sasuke!?"

"Hold him back!" I heard grunts and shouts. "You motherfucker! What did you do!?"

I wanted to apologize but I couldn't. This was part of the mafia life, but he should have known. "You lied, you piece of shit! I hope you die-!"

"Silence." They were probably covering his mouth now, but he could send me to hell for all I cared, as long as I found Naruto, I did not care.

"That is our plan." Sakura finished.

I said nothing, tapping my middle finger on the  table, processing. Nothing said as I watched the condensation roll down the side of my water. I was thinking of all of the ways this plan could go wrong and how it could endanger so many of the people around me, but I'm sure they had all thought of that already.

A part of me wanted to say 'no' and think of something else but judging by the way a few of the people around me were looking at me already told me they had. It wasn't that bad when I really thought about but I knew someone was bound to get hurt and something told me it wasn't going to be me again.

With one question in mind I asked it in need of a reason as to why secrets were being kept. "Why wasn't I told of this sooner?"

I didn't need to see their faces to know that they were all silently debating who was to speak for them, but I was surprised when the quiet one in the room spoke. "Everyone leave, please." I glanced up at the pink haired girl, hiding my face with my bangs; my face hiding my emotions.

Everyone began to shuffle out slowly, silently sending wishes others lingering in hope of being a savior. No on knew what was to happen, not even I knew how I was going to react. When door finally closed, she began to move; closer to me. Most of the meeting she had been stiff and eyeballing me; nothing out of the normal, really. She was looking for a reaction, an emotion, anything to make me look different.

She sat in the chair to my left, rolling it closer than I would have liked. "Sasuke, I requested everyone to leave so that the next thing I say won't get anyone beat." Now she leaned back in her chair no longer looking at me but the ceiling. "How are we supposed to tell you things when you won't listen?"

My lips thinned and I felt anger begin to rise within, yet my lips stayed together in knowledge that she wasn't done; when she glanced at me. "Every time we tried to talk you, you'd shut us down, pushing away." Sakura sat up. "I get that you're some big mafia boss and you need to keep people away so you don't get hurt but you pushing away people who are trying to help is no excuse.

"An don't say you can go and figure things out on your own. Sadly enough you have to work with others to get wherever or whatever it is you want." Her peach colored hand reached for my own bleached hand, holding it. "I- We want to help. He may be your lover but he's our friend too."

Eyeing our hands I had the urge to vomit because if anyone was to touch me it was going to be Naruto. She must not have noticed or didn't care that I was burning holes into her hand because she didn't move it and it pissed me off.

So slowly and understandably as possible I pulled my hand from her grasp and stood, to leave. "I get where you are coming from Sakure, but I can't ask you specifically to put your life on the line for me or for Naruto."

With a snort she stood walking to the other end of the table where she had sat, grabbing her papers. "Well, I am."

"Answer me this, before you go." I said stopping her from leaving, just yet. "Why?"
