Emily's POV
I woke up to my alarm at 6. i really don't wanna get up for work, right i as i shut my alarm off my phone started ringing.
I sat up and looked at who it was. "Aaron Hotchner" was written across my screen with a picture of him smiling, which you don't see much.
"Prentiss" i stated
"Hey Emily, we have a case, sorry if i woke you" he said sternly but he never calls me Emily,
"Oh okay i will be there in 20, and don't worry i was awake" i replied
"Okay well see you in a bit" he said hanging up
I quickly straightened my hair and got dressed and did my make-up (black slacks with a dark blue shirt with a couple buttons) (little eyeliner and mascara)
I grabbed coffee and went to work when i arrived i was a few minutes earlier then i said so i stopped by my desk and set my bag down and walked to the round-table room
"Morning Princess " Derek stated "hi" i replied quietly looking around the room and sitting down. Only one pair of eyes caught mine i smiled slightly
He looked up at Garcia presenting the case and we glanced at each other a few times
*after briefing*
"Emily these victims look just like you" Derek and Reid said in unison "Really? you think so?" i asked "I do" Hotch said causing me to look back at him, he gave me a worried look. "They are all in your age zone, 35 to 40"Garcia stated

*getting on the plane*
I walked up the steps and looked around the plane and noticed i was the last on and that the seat next to Aaron was open so i sat there.
Aaron's POV
I got on the plane early because i wanted to look over the case and find ways to keep Emily safe and not put her in jeopardy.
After everyone was on Emily sat next to me "Hi" she said quietly "Hey, how are you?" i asked "I am okay, you?" i smiled to the side so she didn't see "I am good, but why just okay?" she looked down
"I...um, kinda paranoid about this case" she whispered, i knew she didnt talk about her feelings much so i looked around making sure no-one was watching or listening.
Derek had his headphones in and jj was talking to Reid in the opposite corner and Dave was on the phone probably with Erin
"I will keep you safe, i wont let anything happen i promise Emily its my job." i replied quietly
she looked into my eyes and smiled slightly "Thank you" i smiled sympathetically. It felt right showing her my dimples "You should get some rest" i told her and she nodded laying back
Emily's POV
I slowly fell asleep after Hotch told me to get some rest. i cant wait till this case is over

*at the field office, 2nd day of case*
This case is very stressful, these women are being kidnapped, beaten, raped and then stabbed in the stomach and dye bleeding out, we have no hints on who the unsub is, other than its a man, and we can not fine any evidence on identifying him.
Non of us have slept since we were on the plane. i am going through photos of the victims and waiting for Garcia to find out how these women have something in common and if there is any cases from other states that are similar.
I am sitting alone in the private room the sheriff let us use. i am trying hard to focus but its to hard being so tired and hungry and stressed
Hotch walked in and set a couple papers on the corner of the table "Okay lets go" he said pulling me out of my thoughts "What? where?" i asked looking up at him "We are going to get lunch for us and the team" he replied i stood up and followed him to the SUV
We went to a small sandwich shop and grabbed sandwiches for the team and sat down for a break "I think that we need to take the night off, what do you think?" he asked and i nodded "I agree, we all have been thinking to much and we need to refresh our brains and bodies" he nodded and yawned
After we finished eating we went back to the office and let the team eat, Derek was getting a phone call, i reached out my hand "You eat, i got it" he handed me the phone and Garcia got right to the point. i put the phone on speaker
"Okay love,there is no similar cases and only the first two victims have something in common they went to the same high-school" she sighed into the phone
"What high school?"i asked "Redwood high school the first graduated in 2010 and the second in 2011" she stated not even surprised that it wasn't Derek "Thanks pen" "Yea, and by the looks of it they didn't have any classes or play any sports together, its possible they didn't know each other" i set Derek's phone next to him
"Prentiss, you and i are gonna go talk to some people at the school. the rest of you finish eating and go to the hotel we will be there in a couple hours" Hotch stated and they all nodded and i walked out followed by Hotch
Aaron's POV
*on the way to the hotel*
"What if they didn't know each other because Lily (first victim) was in advanced classes and taking some college classes and Amanda (second victim) was in a younger grade so they had nothing they had to do together?" Emily asked "We need Garcia to see what kind of classes they had, the principle did not help at all" i stated
Emily nodded and i pulled up to the hotel. she pulled out her phone "Hey pen, can you see if they had any similar classes?.....okay.......thanks" she put her phone away and told me the new information
We walked into the hotel and got to the room of my door "You can stay with me tonight, i don't want you to be scared. Also, i don't want anything bad to happen." i said quietly "Okay, thanks" she walked in after i unlocked the door and she went to the bathroom and changed into her pajamas (loose t-shirt and blue shorts)
When she walked back out i couldn't help but look up and down at her, she is so beautiful.
She caught me "What?... just because i am a FBI agent doesn't mean i have to wear a pair of slacks and a blazer to bed..." she smiled slightly "I know i just haven't ever seen you in shorts" i said while i grabbed out my pajamas
"And i have only seen you in a suit never anything else" she replied with a grin i winked at her and laughed walking into the bathroom and changed. (long sweats and a loose t-shirt)
When i walked out i saw her bending over grabbing something and she started laughing randomly "What the hell?" i whispered looking at her body again, i couldn't stop myself
She fell to the side laughing harder making be burst into laughter "Oh my gosh!" she sighed out "What was that all about?" i asked while my laughing died down "Oh i was trying to find something and i fell" she said tiredly "And i don't feel like getting up" i laugh again reaching my hand out to her
She grabbed it and i pulled her up. our bodies where super close i could feel her hot breath against my chest, we just stood there looking into each others eyes
I smiled, and looked down at her lips, then back to her eyes...
