13- movies and surprises.

Mikayla's POV-

It was around 7:30 when I woke up to take a shower. I got my stuff together and went to the bathroom. About 10 minutes later I got out of the shower and started to get dressed. After finishing my make up and my hair, I walked to the front of the bus to watch some TV, and figure out what the plans were for the day. Once I get to the front I see a very sleepy Shawn.

"good morning, sleepy head."

"good morning" he says with a raspy morning voice.

I go and sit by him. He pulls me closer, and puts his arm around my shoulders.

"so, what are we doing today?" I ask him.

"well I was nominated for a few awards at Peoples Choice, which is tomorrow. So today we have to get you something to wear."

"I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THAT!"

"hahaha, yeah. guess what else..."

"what??"

"go look on your bed."

I gave him a weird look and he pushed me towards the beds. I walked back to my room, i slid the curtain out of the way and saw a girl with dirty blonde hair. It couldn't be... she's supposed to be back in mississippi...

"Marcie???"

"BEST FRIEND!!"

"OH MY GOSH!!" I give her a huge hug, then run to Shawn and give a huge hug as well. He brought my best friend to me.

"Shawn thank you thank you thank you!"

"you're welcome." he giggles

I go back over to Marcie and catch up with her, but just before she could tell me about what happened with her and Blake, Shawn interrupts us.

"Sorry to intrude, but we have to go get clothes to wear for People's Choice."

"ohh funn!" Marcie says sarcastically, she's never really liked shopping.

"oh shut up, it will be fun!" I tell her.

*at the mall*

We made it to the mall without any crazy fan encounters, only a few kind fans who just wanted to talk for a second and take a picture. Some of them even wanted a picture with me. We decided we wanted to go into Windsor. While Marcie and I were looking we talked and continued to catch up on what's going on back home.

"So finish telling me about Blake."

"oh, right." she says sadly, but also with a hint of anger.

"So I was always worried that he would go back to his ex because she has been flirting with him ever since she found out we were dating. Well we had been planning on going to a movie that we both really wanted to see, and next thing i know I find out he went with his ex instead. So the next day I was like we're done, and he was like oh ok" She explained. I was beyond pissed. He hurt my best friend.

"I. will. beat. his. ass."

"No!! It's fine! I'm over it."

"Ok, but I will if I need to. I love you." I say and hug her.

After a while of us looking and trying on dresses we both find the perfect one. (pictured above, mikaylas on the left, marcie's on the right) We pay and then go find Shawn, who was talking to some girl. Ok now I'm kind of jealous. Marcie and I look at each other.

"Do not freak out." She tells me.

We walk up to him.

"Hi love!" Shawn says to me, while putting his arm around my waist. I was instantly relieved.

"Bye, it was nice talking to you!" Shawn says as we walk away.

"Who was that?" I ask him.

"Oh, she was just a fan that wanted to talk."

"Oh, ok."

"You weren't jealous were you?" He says with a smirk.

"Whatt, noo." I say sarcastically, and he just laughs.

*back on the bus*

It was getting late so we decided to just watch a movie. Marcie and I got the snacks and drinks, while Shawn got the movie set up. Once we finished getting everything ready, we walked back to the little room at the back of the bus where the TV was. We walked in and Shawn was sitting on the couch, he motioned for me to come over to him. I set the food down and walked over to him and sat down. Once the movie started Shawn reached for my hand and started holding it. After about an hour we all drifted off to sleep.
