No More Dreams (BTS ff)

Chapter 15

A cold autumn breeze blew past causing the fallen leaves to dance on the wind and for my arms to tighten around my body. My lungs began to burn as the smoke from the large fire in front of me made it's way in through my nose. I felt nothing but sadness as I watched the large bonfire burn.

"I'm sorry It had to come to this." Monster whispered as he pulled me closer to him to share his warmth.

"It's ok." I whispered, "It was good while it lasted but now I know it was mostly fake."

After not being able to get info out of Eric, Jungkook and JImin did the dirty deed that needed to be done. Now his body was in the fire to get rid of the evidence. Memories of him played back in my mind. He was the only one I had after my family's death, and I'm sure some of those times were genuine, but after finding out he was with Got7 I never wanted to see him again.

"To change the subject a little bit," Monster went on, "I sent that chip to someone who's good with that type of stuff. He said he'll get back to me as soon as possible."

I nodded and let my mind go blank. I didn't want to think about all this stuff anymore. I just wanted to be a normal teenager, but everyone knew that couldn't happen anymore.

"Let's go in, it's getting cold out here." Monster began pulling on my arm towards the back of the large house. I reluctantly followed after giving one last look at the fire. "Once, the fire is done make sure to find any of his bones that could still be there and just throw them in the river."

He pulled me in through the back door leading into the kitchen and into the living room. I sighed as I layed down on the couch and put my arm over my eyes. I hadn't slept well the night before and it was taking a toll on me.

"Lets all do something fun today." I moved my arm and squinted up at Monster. "You look exhausted, and like you need a day away from everything."

"What would we even do?" I asked as the other boys walked into the room plopping down on the couches.

"What's happening?" Suga asked as he heard what I said.

"Let's go do something, We could go shopping or go to an amusement park or something. I don't know. I just think Mara needs a little break." Monster looked around at all the boys who were nodding.

"I want to get a cell phone." I whispered, afraid that my request would be requested.

"What for?" Monster said.

"What if I get in a bad situation, I may have to contact one of you guys." I stated.

"But if you got in a bad situation you may not be able to get to your phone." I frowned as Monster's words registered through my mind, I knew he was right though. "Why don't we just got to the amusement park today and I'll think about it ok?"

I smiled at his words, and ran up the stairs to my room to get changed. I pulled on a black and red striped sweater and black jeans. I wore some white converse and quickly ran back downstairs.

"Ready?" V asked as he put an arm around my shoulder leading me to a large van. I nodded and smiled.

The ride to the park was loud and full of surprisingly good energy. Music blaring through the speakers and all the boys singing along to it. I was sat between JHope and Suga, with Jimin Jungkook and V in the back, while Jin was driving and Monster was in the passenger seat.

"Have you ever been to an amusement park?" Suga asked as we jumped out of the van.

"No but I've always wanted to go to one." A smile stretched across my face as I was feeling somewhat normal.
